Board Upgrade!

Sup Folx!

Just a little message to let you know.. that when I wake up tommorow I'm going to upgrade our board to the final version of YaBB Gold.
Its supposed to be faster, and more secure n stuff.

I'm going to make a back up first - that'll take a little while because its lots of little files.. and even over adsl is takes ages :(

This should be the last major board change for a long time until YaBB 2 is released. (a long long way off yet)

heheh yeah

I've noticed one problem... for some reason any post NIK made in the past has him down as  "(nik)guest"... but I logged in as him and tested that it doesnt affect any ones he makes in the the future and his counter aint shafted
(just noticed the same problem for hambone and ka rule too)

Is that why I couldn't get in onThursday. It said CGI error when I tried to get in.

thursday was another problem, the script i've written fixes that. if you have problems come back in 'the front door' and the script will fix it.

I've been coming through that way for a couple of weeks. Its cleared up now so everythings peachy.
