Anyone other than me think he's nothing but a poor man's Dr. Dre?  Aside from "The Streets" for WC, I don't like a whole lot of stuff he does.  Almost every beat he produces sounds like a Dre imitation, except with less sonic detail and musical depth.  And now he wants to be the next Lil Jon as well, it seems.  He needs to stick with The Roots and doing keyboard hooks for Dre, nothing more.

Ah, correct, wrong track.  I seem to remember a review saying he did, but yeah, I got it twisted.

OK, well, make that ONE song of his I like. ;D

a valid point but you have to give atleast some credit for his output whereas dr dre isn't putting out hardly any beats these days. and i know its about quality and not quantity but there is an absolutely enormous difference between storch's output and dre's these days, even if he is working with some dodgy artists...

Yeah, like Paris Hilton.

Imitators still annoy me, tho.  Then again, I used to say the same thing about QD3 back in the day until I heard "Letter to the President" from Pac and the Outlawz' "Still I Rise" album.

Scott Storch is alright. his beats are just too...generic sounding. most of his beats got that just-add-water-and-stir sound to it. "Run It" by Chris Brown is nice (so is that other song that plays at the end of his 2nd video), im feelin that "Turn It Up" by Chamillionaire, and a few other tracks. But he's weak most of the times

Yep.
Storch is watering himself down with all these hiphop/r'n'b crossover joints on the radio, where 85% of them sounds like the same track, seems like he's handing out beats to anybody that can come up with a decent sized cheque..
Never liked his bass, but his keys are some times crazy, so he should work more with Dre..

Hittman is not a real person. He was a computer program generated by Dr. Dre and Mel Man back in the mid 90's. When Dre started treating Mel-Man like shit, Mel infiltrated the computer and put a virus in the hittman program

I'm sure he could make his beats better if he tried but he is Jewish so he'll probably keep making shit beats for shit artists just for big bags of money.

There's no denying that he's a huge hitmaker though. Seems like every several weeks, a new Storch-produced track hits the charts. I'm convinced that Lil Jon is pissed at Storch for "Run It". Maybe that's what made Lil Jon call him a biter.

I'd love it if Storch played keys on at least 1\4 of Detox. He has a great chemistry with Doc Dre.
