Alright, honestly now. Rate how you think your teams doing so far this year. Try not to be just a fan, and be honest. Rate other teams too if you want.

My Team, San Antonio-They have a good record, but they arent blowing me away yet. Parker said after the Dallas game a couple weeks ago "we've been kind of crusing". Thats how i see em right now. Theyre winning for the most part, but they arent blowing the weaker teams away like they should...letting em hang around in games. And because of that, had some stupid losses (Chicago, Charlotte, Atlanta...etc). I think theyll get it together tho. Manu's been out, and Finley is just now finally findin his place on the team. Big game Christmas day against Detroit. Grade=A-

Detroit-Fuck, they look unstoppable right now. Theyre playing exactily how they need to. Most lower level team, theyre taking care of easily...and bein able to rest their starters alot. They look impressive so far, and in a part of their schedule that was thought to be difficult. Right now, theyre playin the best ball in the league. Big game against SA on Christmas. Grade=A+

Miami-They havent looked that great, but theyre just getting Shaq back into the mix. I cant really rate em too much until i see how they play with Shaq back in the lineup for a while. Grade=B-

Lakers-Pretty up and down. I see them as bein this way all year. They had a strong start, then slowed way down, then came on strong again. To be honest, i really dont know what to expect from them either. I think theyll make the playoffs...but will be a lower seed. They can beat some good teams here and there...but it might be hard with this lineup to win in a 7 game series against an elite team. So far tho, theyve played better then expected. Grade=B+

Clips-Theyve played good ball so far. Im pretty impressed with em. I think they are actually as good as they are playing. In other words, i dont think they are just overachieving right now. I dont see them contending in the West for a trip to the finals tho. Inexperience in the playoffs will hurt them. Grade=A

Suns-Pretty much as good as youd expect with out Amare. Im sure when he went out, no one expected shit from them. But they still have a decent record, and if they can just hang around recordwise until Amare comes back, they could be dangerous. So far theyve been ok, seein their situation. Grade=B


thats all im rating...pretty much stuck to teams who have fans, or enemies here lol. What yall think of shit so far this year?

How would you rate the The Cavs?  I havent really been following basketball this year

Lakers- They are coming to form. Kobe's always playing good, and Lamar is starting to get his goove on. I think he is ready (if not already has been) to be that solid second scorer. Kwame's injury was a blessing in disguse. On top of Cook showing he's got game, it gave Kwame a chance to practice is game without actually being caught up in one. He will be averaging 10 and 7 guy soon (if you are factoring in his stats right now). Dido Chris Mihm. Smush has slowed down a bit since the begining, but he is what the Lakers need: a true point guard. The are some questions on the bench. For now George, Walton and Brown or Cook are holding it down, buit for how long? If this is there strucutre they will be a little weak on the bench come April. Phil Jackson needs to let Andrew Bynum play. He's got talent and deserves 15 minutes, at the very least 10. Grade B+

Raptors- Wow. A total meltdown is going on here, regardless of what Swirsky will tell you. They have some young, talented players that just need time, but they still need to be winning more then 5 games by the middle of December. There is no quick cure for this team. The internal strife is growing and it does not look good. Bosh is upset and Coach Mitchell is this close to exploding on his team mates. Still, I'd rather have this team then the Atlanta Hawks. F/D-

Celtics - were not among the best teams in the nba now but i must say were doing pretty good without Walker, and Payton. Paul Pierce and Ricky Davis are an unstoppable duo but the problem is we have weak players on the court with them most of the time like Raef Lafrentz who needs to take more shots in the paint and not trying so many 3 point field goals, and Delonte West who has improved a great amount in his second season but he causes way too many turnovers and commits way too many fouls. Having Kendrick Perkins on the court for too many minutes doesn't help so much either.
Im hoping sometime in the near future we can trade Lafrentz, Perkins, or Jefferson for a big guy that will help the team out better. Either that or we need to start Marcus Banks at point guard and have Delonte West as our sixth man, give Mark Blount more minutes, and not pass the ball to Raef Lafrentz too much and im pretty sure we will win alot more games and easily be playoff contenders and take first place in the atlantic division which won't be very hard to do right now. My grade for the Celts: C

Warriors - damn, they got their momentum now. great from behind the 3 point line, baron davis and j rich are the allstars burnin this muthafucka down. Troy Murphy and Foyle are holdin it down as well as team leaders. its truly been a great turn around this year, they at 14-10 right now, last season they didnt have 15 wins until february, so they doin pretty good.

Well I am a Cavs fan. I think their outside shooting, which was their biggest weakness last year, has been improved with the additions of Donyell Marshall and Damon Jones. Lebron James is only getting better and better and is probably the best player in the NBA right now. But the Cavs still struggle at times with their defense, and in the end that will be their downfall. I see them winning maybe 50 games and advancing to the second round of the playoffs before being knocked out. Grade: B-.

im hoping that Manu being out for us is the same. its giving Finley more of a chance to get into the mix. Honestly, sometimes injuries (more so in tha beginning of the season) can be a good thing. Like Shaq bein out might actually help the Heat in the long run. Sometimes a team focuses too much on getting the ball to one guy, and the rest of the team gets into a funk of just depending on that guy. Once he's not there...the rest of the team HAS to learn to step up. Then when the star returns, the team is that much stronger. Id bet the Lakers would actually be stronger, if Kobe missed like 10 games.
