The Shield

Anyone else who finds The Shield one of the best series on TV? I just finished watching the 1st Season on DVD and I haven't got one bad thing to say about it. Good acting, good camera work, good storyline, nice dialogues, etc...I really liked it.

My brother already bought Season 2 so I'm about to start watching that as well...

Yeah, bought season 1 a week ago, dope show.
It's like Training Day mixed with NYPD Blue.  8)

Too bad import DVD's are so expensive, they're taking forever to release zone 2 DVD's at a reasonable price..  >:(

Yeah, I know what you mean. Although The Shield wasn't an import release here in Belgium (luckily enough!). Both the 1st & 2nd seasons were normal releases. But I've heard that they won't release Season 3 in Europe though >:( So that means I'll have to import it, dammit!)

Yep this is one of the dopest series I've ever seen , I mean when you have finished to watch, the only thing you want to do : watch the follow up. Already seen the 4 seasons, can't wait for the fifth (coming in March I think)

You can easily find all the seasons on emule. Though it's worth buying without a doubt

yeah, this is one of my favourite shows, too bad the DVDs are so damn expensive tho, just like Alias (season 1 still $99 here)

$99?! Dayum! My brother bought it for $37 in a shop nearby. Why didn't you just order it off the Internet? I'm sure it's cheaper than $99, including the shipping costs.

^ australia, so if you buy it for say $35 from the US, factor in $20 shipping, thats about $80AUD, plus we use PAL standard TV's here and not NTSC so the picture looks a bit different.. not really much cheaper, easier to wait til they come down in price

Good show by all accounts this but they moved it from a Wednesday night to a Friday night over here which was bang out of order. I think I'm up to the end of Season Three.
