it's definately top 10 material... maybe even top 5.

but it's not a pure rap-album... it's a melting pot of genres... i love it.

Well, it's certainly in my top 5 of 2005, but I wouldn't call it a pure "Hip-Hop" album. It's a mix of Hip-Hop & "Latin Rock". I wish more artists would make an album with the same quality material instead of just sticking to the same method always: a club banger, famous guest appearances and famous producers just to grab the people's attention.

I first heard Flipsyde at Snoop & Game's concerts and I was really impressed. But back in February there album wasn't out yet, so as soon as it got released I scooped it up. Must've had the most spins along with The Documentary this year...

The lyrical content of the album is tight, simple as that.

Oh by the way: their song "Someday" has been chosen to be the theme song for the 2006 Winter Olympics! Now that's what I call "doin' it big" 8)

flipsyde is from oakland and they made the theme song for the winter olympics...

Since when do we read papers to find out what's good and what's not in this wonderful world called Hip Hop? I thought Flipsyde sucked. That's just my opinion tho.
