I've been seeing this all over the place and just think it is so overhyped.  The guy is not worth 500 million, his contract is as big of a joke as his talent.

But luring Stern was a major, if costly, move for Sirius. The "Howard Stern Show" costs about $100 million a year, including salaries for Stern and his staff, according to Sirius data.
   
To break even, Clayton said Sirius would need to add a million subscribers, which he said should be easy to achieve.

yes it has, and is continuing to grow! Stern not only has his show, but he is currently writing material for other shows soon to be on sirius

Sirius is sick man.  I listen to that shit everyday - i have it in my house, i'm going to get it for my truck.  I'll never listen to terrestrial radio again.
