1st show was just like any other show except he says shit once in a while. I feel bad for the people who bought Sirius just for him.
But luring Stern was a major, if costly, move for Sirius. The "Howard Stern Show" costs about $100 million a year, including salaries for Stern and his staff, according to Sirius data. To break even, Clayton said Sirius would need to add a million subscribers, which he said should be easy to achieve."It's a good move for Sirius," said April Horace, an analyst with Janco Partners.
didnt the subscriber base jump by 3.5 million after stern signed on?
I don't know the details, but seems like a lot of $ to throw at that guy. I just don't see a lot of his following springing for Sirius
I'll probably eventually get Sirius. It seems liek the company is growing and offering more than XM at the moment.
