Dr. Dre wasn't a part of any of the commercials. The commercials ran in the summer to winter of '95.

The Rakim one was dope.

Ice Cube got alot of shit for doing these (he just joined the Nation of Islam prior to this).

They had posters all over the place, too during this period.

You're mixing it up with the "coors light commercial", AdrinoDogg from www.aftermathmusic.com did a dope remix of "the wash" with the dre beats from that commercial.
