Loads of  rappers (snoop, nate dogg, warren G, 2pac, king tee...) did commercials for the company where they do a lil rap about the drink, in 90's i thnk
You can do a search on youtube for "st ides" for loads of videos

Dr. Dre wasn't a part of any of the commercials.  The commercials ran in the summer to winter of '95.
