Aight back with another one of these, needed to do one since I have pretty much given up on doing a Eiht one (too many albums). Still might to it in sections. Anyway everyone knows the story about the Outlawz. This review will focus on their group albums.

Ride Wit Us Or Collide Wit Us- Nice debut album. Mr Lee, Quimmy Quim and Mike Dean did the majority of the beats. RAL produced tracks were all fire but a couple of the other ones were weak. Outlawz showcased their wide range of subject matter discussed on this album, which is now a trademark of theirs. Did great numbers for a indie release.

Novakane- A much more cohesive release. Tracks like History, Our Life, Red Bull & Vodka and the infamous Fatal diss track Loyalty really showed the growth from 1st album to 2nd album. Solid release. A 2pac repeat from World Wide Mob Figgas but I liked how they remixed it.

Neva The Rap-A-Lot Sessions- Probably other than Retribution their best album IMO. Mike Dean and Mr. lee handled the beats, as this was recorded while they were signed to RAL. The beats were all bangin and they had that venom back in their rhymes. Glad to see this album was FINALLY released after they had left the label.

Outlaw 4 Life 2005 A.P.: This is probably their most diverse album. I think Focus from Aftermath was the co executive producer on this one. The beats were tight on this one. Napolean had left by this time and was replaced with Stormey, who has a very distinct style, but it fits with the group. He handled alot of hooks on this album.
These are the actual core group albums. Their are countless solo albums and duo projects including the solid Against All Oddz which came out in 06 (edi & noble) and Fatal and Noble's album last year. As always the constant gripe with them is they reference 2pac too much which I can't really disagree with, but they cover a wide range of topics other artists just don't do. Retribution is their best album and was released as a mixtape though in aight quality. That was the album they did on Death Row. But if I had to rate these albums it would go like this:
RAL Sessions
Outlaw 4 Life
Novakane
RWUOCWU
They are interchangeable for me at times but I found their more recent work they added much better beats and the rhymes stepped up also. All of their tracks with Young Buck that have dropped recently have been STR8 FIYAH so I am definitely looking forward to their Cashville Records debut with hopefully some Fatal Hussein and Big Syke on the album.

Yeah WAAAAY too many to cover on side projects. Although they do have some good stuff.

Stoned Raiders was decent. I play it from time to time.

Umm they were good. I liked the rock tracks better on Skull & Bones though.

I don't know, you should listen to their RAL album, dope shit. Wish they would have stayed over there.

Great review D-Nice. The Outlawz are one of the only groups left to really speak on topics that most rappers don't bother to bring up. I currently own Thug In Thug Out, Outlawz 4 Life, and Blood Brothers. I've listened to their other albums but personally, these three are the only ones that I don't get sick of.

Yeah those are 3 very dope albums. I really don't understand all of the criticism that they get but now they are working with Focus and Hi Tek alot more so the beats are starting to match the rhymes.
