They're both classic, both beats fit the content of the lyrics. The albums they're from, It Was Written and DK:7DT, can be listened to from start to finish without forwarding. But when I don't have time to sit and listen to a whole album, and only enough time to listen to my favorite songs on the album.....the winner is I Gave You Power. Plus, I Gave You Power came out before Me & My Girlfriend, so I had more time for it to grown on me as a favorite.

Conceptually and lyrically, Nas's track is more in depth and better.
HOWEVER, 'Pac's track is more listenable and a better song to just vibe to, combined with the lyrics and passion he brought to the mic (the harmonizing of the chorus, etc.)
