1 of the very few Bishop tracks i really dont like  :(

They should make a video for Halleluga, with Xzibit, Dre etc in the video and go with it for the Lead single for the Reformation

If that shit is even ever goin' to drop, is Bishop still with Aftermath?

It said Diocese/Aftermath/Takeoff so he must still be on there. Just doubt his albums gonna drop under aftermath

Beat is real wack. I'm surpirse he let that kind of track be a representation of himself. yet, this the type of wack stuff loved by the masses so it could work.
If he wanted a club rradio song he should did that joint Don't Come Around Here with Kobe, with Khalil on the beat.

Sounds like the most simpliest beat ever, something you would play on "The Wake Up Show" and freestyle over it.

I'm very surprised he released this as his first official video. Its an average mixtape track.

He had so much better tracks that would have made cool videos (love you, feel on it, grow up, dont come around here, bitches on my dick...)

The bad thing is that the track does not represent bishop well, its not very close to his character.

Anyway, the result is cool, i love it. cant wait for hallelujah. GO BISHOP !!!

Too bad, they never released the video he did with dre (if they really shot it...)

Like everybody else said he picked the worst track that's not even a representation of his music direction.

But this shit gets spins. Sometimes you got to dumb it down in order to succeed.

true, but that doesn't make it good music. lol at all the people saying this isn't bishop's best song, not a good representation, etc. that's besides the point, its just straight up bad.

I actually like it. It's catchy. I could see it getting radio play. It may not be good music, but it's damn good for spins.

it's probably not as bad as i'm making out, but i'm being harsh because bishop's general direction is meant to be the antithesis of this kind of thing. his album title 'the reformation' is supposed to be about bringing real hip-hop back, not selling out, etc. then he drops tracks like this...

Hmmn the videos nice, the songs better than i remember but its still very average, Bishops got loads of better songs so i don't really get why they made a video for this :-\ why not better songs like 'City Lights' or 'Africa' ???

^^ I agree with that, it's very bi-polar but you shoudl've had the same attitude with Slaughterhouse "The One".

This video makes the song alot more listenable, his lyrics are on point, its just the basic beat everyone seems pissed at. If this is what it takes though atleast he's got a Nas sample instead of T Pain on a hook lol...

Anyone got an mp3 of this track?

I Like the beat but it should have had a hook instead of the sample. Bishop had no aggression in his rhyme, making it simply  BORING.

But O well he's got enough bangers besides this shit....

video is cool. the track is okay but not wack. they are def. going after that mainstream appeal/sound. the beat is generic and boomy. the lyrics are okay-good but not great. the hook was wack as hell though, the lyrics of the hook not the melody. we all know they aint carrying AKs in the street. good to see some of the west still grinding.

Yeah lyrically there's nothing wrong with this track, and I keep getting that hook stuck in my head. Hopefully this makes some noise for Bishop

Yeah that's where I first heard this beat. I remember when YB's version leaked it was supposedly an unreleased song so maybe he decided not to use it & then Bishop ended up with the beat.

Bishops had been working alot with dyrdek's cousin Drama Beats who's in the video too.  Bishop actually has a song with Dyrdek and Ryu that's coming out later. I believe they shot an episode of fantasy factory about it.. the return of bobby Light or something to that effect.

you know, i first thought that a song like Grow Up wouldn't work as a single, but it's not that simple.

besides, it doesn't matter what Bishop brings to the table, cause he got rejected by interscope regardless.
not to mention that Detox isn't coming anytime soon + slim the mobster took his role.

Yeah Slim has definitely taken his place which sucks, but hopefully they can groom Slim into a monster :P. This looks like his last ditch effort to get some attention, if the Hallelujah video drops, we'll know if he's got support if Dre is in it or not. Hopefully they've worked out a sub label for him or something, we need an interview!!

all the casual listeners or general hip-hop heads who i was exposing to bishop's music back when he was putting loads of good stuff out could care less now. he needs some proper support from the label and dre to get things popping again...

Only reason I care if an artist blows if I get more music of better quality.  If not then I don't care.

yeah hopefully the Hallelujah video will see the light of the day :)

anyway, Bishop & the aftermath camp are acting really vague about the label situation, really childish :P
