If you had to choose one track... :D
Just curious.
-
whos Vault are you taliking homie? :)
-
Sorry, the 'math.
-
Haha, could you give us an inventory list? :P
Personally, I want Ghetto Tango. I know Dre has it, and I know it isn't specifically Aftermath, but that track has bothered me for years. It'd either be that or that RBX song in the vaults that samples In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins.
-
Dont know if im going to be able to pick just ONE track
-
Are we going to be given a treat at the end of this thread Octo?

It was in The Source magazine's FAT TAPE section years ago...

Here's some tracks i'd like to hear from the Aftermath vaults:
Dr. Dre (Feat. Ms. Roq, Yo-Yo & Truth Hurts) - Fuck You (Remix)
King T - The Future
Xzibit (feat. Tray Deee & Ms. Roq) - Take Me There
Xzibit (feat. Dr. Dre) - Take Your Stripes
-
Either one of the following two:
I Dominate - Bishop Lamont feat. Dr. Dre [Prod. by Dr. Dre]
RAIN - Bishop Lamont feat. The New Royales [Prod. by Dr. Dre]
-
Whatever other shit the Doctor was making when he made Outta Control Remix.
-
"Gimme 50 Feet" or any completed Helter Skelter tracks .

-
2001 leftovers - any material with nate dogg/knoc
the best dre produced track(s) from bishop's reformation

Raekwon - 400 Grams
2001 leftovers we haven't heard of (I know there's some shit recorded with Punchline and Wordsworth, for example)

Everyone has a vault, and please stop with the Death Row threads and threatening to leave people bloody on Piru Street. It makes you look rather dumb.

^ Lol that track sounds jokes. Definitely not recycled lines as well. Sounds a bit like Bitches Aint Shit in terms of a diss. I swear RBX recorded a full album on Aftermath that was never released?

"ThaFormula.com - One of the reasons why I liked your style was because you reminded me a lot of a young King Tee?
Hittman - Yeah he was the fuckin' man. That's another thing. Had his album come out the West Coast would be different right now. He would have set my album up perfect cause we do sound similar and he's a Compton nigga, and I'm a West Side nigga.
ThaFormula.com - Was he still there when you got there?
Hittman - He was on his way out I think. I think I seen him a couple of times and then I didn't see him no more, but I happened to hear this cat I know named Major. He's got a song called "Concrete Nigga" and shit. Big up to him. He was fuckin' with King Tee at the time and "Xplosive" was really this song called "The Future" and man that shit was ridiculous man. That was just one song I heard and I was like aww man!
ThaFormula.com - So your tellin' me the "Explosive" beat from "2001" was really supposed to be a King Tee track?
Hittman - Yeah the "Xplosive" beat was really for King Tee at first. This was back in '98 and shit and that shit was very hot. It was dope shit I can't even describe it. I mean I got at least 7 songs that I recorded with Dre that didn't make "2001." It's just countless material man. That nigga really don't even gotta do no more music to be honest with you."
-
Eminem - Brian, Mike & Jeff (MMLP leftover)
Whats this?
never heard it myself. back in like 99-01 i frequented a few eminem boards. on one particular board a guy lived in detroit and had some sort of hookup for getting music. he uploaded a bunch of the original versions of tracks from the sslp and mentioned a few others. one was this, the other was the amityville (original) that i mentioned above and a track called violence
he leaked out that our house that everyone has also that was meant to be the original single from the mmlp but was pulled for whatever reason
-
Anything with Knoc-Turn'al, Ca$his or Snoop.
-
King T - The Future
Is this the track with him flowing over the Xxxplosive beat?
Yeah. Hittman was talkin about that track in one of his old interviews.
Damn I dunno bout yall but I'd rather get a track with a whole new beat lol

yeah, the released version is fine
-
I always felt that Dre should've had a verse on "Xxplosive". "The Way I Be Pimpin"/"Xxplosive II" was tight, was that originally supposed to be on "2001"?
-

Also that I dominate track...as well as that Feel on it remix bishop was talking about a couple of years ago that he was doing with some really big names...

I never knew that, xxplosive was always one of those beats I loved at first listen. I'd kill to hear King TeeS version! they should have put him on the retail version, wish they had him on 2001 more than 1 verse. Also Dre never impressed me on way I be pimping, I see why that was kept unreleased
-
damn with jus dre on it?
and does anyone know the 2001 leftovers list of songs?
California Love (Solo Version)
-
