Last week, we announced the upcoming EP from Shady Records signee and Slaughterhouse MC Crooked I, which will be dropping December 13th via COB Music Group/Treacherous Records/EMPIRE Distribution.
The EP is called "In None We Trust - The Prelude" and will feature Jay Rock, Glasses Malone, Mistah F.A.B., Horseshoe G.A.N.G., Conyac and K-Young. You can view the artwork to your left and today we have the official first leak off the EP.
The song is called "No Competition" and was produced by Aktive. Crooked goes in and in usual manner absolutely dismantles the beat. Watch for the accapella part towards the middle:

Expect more news on the EP soon as well as a new interview with the one they called young Crooked Intriago, from a long lost tribe called fuck-a-hoe. (Real fans will remember that line... If you do, hit me up at @nima_dubcnn and let me know there are some real ones left!
SsuuttX2!

crook is so fukin dope even though i hate this beat
-
The beat isn't really my cup of tea either but it's in tune with all the singles that have been big this year on a street level (Rick Ross etc). Either way, Crooked fuckin kills it man, he went off.
-
Beat is nothing special, but Crooked just went crazy on that, I mean WOW...

I was listening to the new Mary J. Blige album when I opened this album. When you're listening to horrible music and then play this track, this beat sounds fresh. lol
-
yeah fuck this Luger soundin beat.. no need to go there Crook..
but yeah he killed it.. Not gonna play this much though cause of the beat..
-
Beat is fine..Crooks on another level these passed couple months..
-
Quit acting like Crooked needs a beat & his lyrics aren't more than enough to prove his sickness.
This is fire.

go listen to acapellas

Honestly the beat is the best thing about this song. Hook is pretty wack. For the first minute he is just babbling nonsense. Weren't really any lines that wowed me and he goes off beat frequently. And I mean frequently. The problem isn't with the beat, its with Crooked not flowing to it.
Cham you really think this is fire? "finishing any nigga that think he gonna run up on the general criminal on general principle i'ma give him a bullet the momentum is gonna spin him around then ima give him another round get rid of him." lol that's the same rapping fast but saying nothing that Busta's been doing recently.
-
Sorry Crooked, this isnt payment quality rap music.....

That's such an ill line. All of it made sense & all of it have the same theme around it. Busta just throws anything together like, "I'm hitta sprinta with a printa & steal his chinchilla" lol.

There is nothing ill or dope about that line. Not to mention it doesn't even rhyme. That nonsense rhyme you just came up with is better.

Damn, another dude that won't agree on what's dope. Just saying...
Crooked was hardly off beat. He is switching his flow. You just need to catch up. You're trippin again.
But I agree with you that this was not that special. It was cool, nothing more. He has better shit!

Nope, this is switching up flow: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrghtXWfVYM
Notice how he does it while staying on key so it makes sense?
Cham just likes to argue. He knows they aren't good lines.
-
Busta is amazing. That is all.
-
Not that the line is straight wack, but there's nothing to get excited about to have someone saying its ill. It sounds like a slim the mobster line.

You said frequently, I said hardly. I understand what you're saying but Crooked switched his flow drastically. This almost sounded like a freestyle. His pace on the song was constantly changing, not to mention the way he wrote his bars. Plus, Busta's song is from an actual album. They went over that shit countless times I bet, considering Dre was behind it. Crooked did sound a bit off a times but was still above average. Listen to it again and you will see its still quite remarkable.
Yeah, honestly Crooked didn't really have punch like he usually does. It was just rhyme and flow!
But that's only my opinion. Cham can have his say also.
-
YO nima any info about the tracklist?

You're right it does sound like a freestyle. If he did this live it would be okay, but its a recorded track, yanowhatimsayin?

Yeah I know what you're saying homie. Knowing Crooked though, something tells me he busted this shit off one take, but who knows ha!
