"Wolf" shows us that. Conceptually lyrically its like neck and neck, production wise he's throwing Kendrick under the bus. I've been tellin u, Tyler and Dre and the good folks at Aftermath need to do a track or 9 together (get a Nicki and Tyler track and a Trio track on 1 too)

04. Rusty
05. Colossus/The Bridge Of Love
06. Parking Lot

09. Answer
10. Lone/Jornada
11. IFHY

13. Bimmer
14. Pigs
15. Campfire
u mean to tell me Im reaching with the tracklist like that compared to "good kid, m.A.A.d city"
01. Sherane aka Master Splinter's Daughter
02. Backseat Freestyle
03. The Art Of Peer Pressure
04. Money Trees
05. Poetic Justice
06. m.A.A.d city (part 2)
07. Swimming Pools (regular version)
08. Sing About Me
09. I'm Dying Of Thirst
10. The Recipe

tyler reps the antichrist (the darkness)

Tyler comes off as not serious enough about rap...I really don't think he cares, its just lulz for him. Kendrick is a whole different breed.
-
Kendrick = refreshingly original talent
Tyler = shock value / attention whore
Kendrick kills this guy in every category and its not even close.

u know there's a reason why white folks and jews dont run hip hop. you just make it easier to understand that point. u have NO idea wat youre talking about, and i know that so its alright

Much respect.

Hop is still minor leagues compared to them. plus he doesnt have as much umph as the other two even tho i could c him gettin on someway

They're both extremely talented, they're both the future of the West Coast, and they both released sonically impressive, well thought out, critically successful concept albums, in a time where hip hop is very removed from that space.
They operate at pretty different ends of the spectrum, and I prefer Kendrick as an emcee, to me technically he's more proficient, however they are on the same level in terms of complete artistry in my opinion.
With these two guys operating at the level they are critically and commercialy, I'd say the future of West Coast music is definitely in good hands.
Sidenote - I wish "Bimmer" was longer, track is so smooth 8)

lol son is lost, I guess he doesn't know about Lyor Cohen, Rick Rubin, Jerry Heller, Steve Rifkind, Cory Robbins and the long standing tradition of jewish entrepreneurs thriving in Hip Hop.

Here yall go smh. I never said there werent any good/great White and Jewish Producers (or even rappers). Yall just dont do it like we do, why, becuz we created it.
Fuck a thread, if yall wanna turn this into another troll thread then go head. I hope yall r havin fun still talkin about the same ol shit everyday.

yeah "Bimmer" do jah crank. Most of this album cranked. I hope 1 day we'll get a Kendrick/Tyler creation
-
LOL. How did mods allow this thread to survive the night.
Trolls get wild on here.
-
Tyler clearly has a million ideas but an artist like that needs a good production team to help him get them out coherently

You're talkin about "Goblin", I'm talkin about "Wolf". Big difference
same shit different wrapping.

OFWGKTA
all i see is lil suburban white girls with their shirts all over the place. lol
not to say tyler cant spit cuz he can. but kendrick has more real life stories than tylers shock value but fuck he be spittin. really does remind me of eminem.

sorry but you didn't create shit, just because you happen to belong to the same "community" to those who created hip-hop doesn't mean you took part of the movement. being an African-American consumer doesn't make you part of this any more than white consumers. a lot of white/jewish ppl have more legitimacy claiming hip hop than you. there were caucasian pioneers who helped create and further this movement and without their help hip-hop wouldn't be nearly as big as it is today (Ted Demme, Albert Abatiello, Rick Rubin, Sophie Bramly). matter of fact there were even foreign caucasians whose hip hop roots run deeper than yours ever will.
to get back to the topic, Tyler is nice, and definitely has skills, especially lyrical. but he's in his own lane with his own twisted humor and alternative vision of life but Kendrick is more versatile and complete imo. dude is full package, whether it be his flow, his lyrics from a purely aesthetical standpoint or the subject matter. the production on "Wolf" bodies that of GKMC though, IMHO.

Man shut tha fuck up, u dont even know wat youre talkin about. U still think "Goblin" and "Wolf" are the same album foh. And since youre getting all racially sensitive on me then wat about all those Black folks who never got their Front Page or 15 minutes, wat about the folks who never got a big deal but worked behind the scenes (like DJ Quik for example)?
What about the homie Clyde Stubblefield who never got an award or his proper due a day in his life in the Rap game? U can miss me with all of that Caucasian Hip Hop Sympathy shit, its not going to work and its a retarded ass notion. And out of all that yellin Tyler do, u still aint heard one word yet
How about u just start listening to the music instead of talking about it before u even really peeped the shit out.

As a white man, I realize since I didnt have a hand in creating hip hop, I cant criticize it like I created it.
Read a book, yall.

i haven't listened to Goblin wtf u ramblin about ? don't try to flip that racial shit on me sir cause you're the racist of the forum, and the one always making racial comments, and keep referring to "your culture".
DJ Quik had one of the biggest deals in the industry at the time (one of the only six figure deals), on Profile Records, a legendary label run by jews (Cory Robbins).
You never make any sense do you ? throwing random attacks lol.

Arthur is too fucking dense to realize he was just completely bodied with this post. A dude that speaks English as a second language expresses himself with way more clarity and utterly ethers Artie, and it just goes right over Arthur's big ass head......rofl
Props Bouli you are a beast

explain or im just gonna take that as a mock offense becuz Jews, Latinos, Whites, and other Asian people arent as good. Some of yall are but most just dont even compare.
Tyler is like a Black Eminem but better and has better beats and he seems to be getting better. Em (and D12) are like a 3 trick pony verses Tyler (and OddFuture) who gives u a whole show that gets better each time (so far)

lol jews run shit, son, we all know this...it has nothin to do with that, tho. it's just that sometimes u go on tangents and it's tough followin or decipherin ur main point. but its all good, obviously, most of the shit is still comprehensible
saying tyler is better than eminem is disgraceful.
-
No I'm completely comprehensible, you probably just can't read becuz of all of that crack and coke u used to do. but seriously u just gotta follow along. Not everything I'm gonna write is gonna be at a 3rd grade or 6th grade reading level even if i'm speaking African American and you're trying to decipher it as English...
But Jews don't run shit in Hip Hop anymore besides probably the TeleVision side of things. I can name more influential Blacks in this game with more Money and more Power than some of your Asian brethren, and that's dead ass. U show me some powerful Jews I'll show u some powerful Niggaz. We can do this all day if u want (just make another fuckin thread)
And hell yeah Tyler is better than Eminem for a couple reasons. In fact the only thing Em has on him today are the giant singles ("produced by" Dr. Dre mainly) and the huge movie, even tho Loiter Squad is in it's 2nd season. If his flow (and music) is getting better with each project then I can easily see him out-rhyming Eminem in his prime.
Once u take away the nostalgia factor of an artist (regardless of who) then you'll have a clearer view of who they are and what they bring to tha table. Eminem is no exception just like Pac isn't an exception and we all can clearly see that man Pac was a genius. His unreleased shit STILL goes hard today. Try that with some of that earlier Eminem shit and see how u feel

Basically, somewhat...
And plus they put down seeds before we did so of course yall had the lead.
Nik youre still living in the 20th Century. On TV and Print youre probably right. But everything else youre wrong about.
Say:
Tyga couldve left Universal/Sony whatever before "Rack City" came out even after the album was done and walked away. The label coulda put out "Rack City" itself without Tyga's involvement and probably wouldnt have or barely wouldve made a prophet. Why, becuz they'd have to go bodygaurd hard promoting a Rapper and his Catalog without the actual Rapper which wouldve been extremely difficult considering it would be bad ink on both sides.
And now "Rack City" is being promoted and Tyga's gettin all this buzz n shit and he aint even Demo'ing the song. Next he puts an independent album out (probably on somebody's tour too) and he's making $7 a share off of that album (plus maybe Show money for whatever songs he'll do if he goes that route which he probably would).
Say his album sells 15-20K. Thats atleast $105,000 and since he's Independent he'll probably have to kick-back, say, $20,000. Now he's made some bank and the label probably made back after all of those Fees n shit, probably 200K and thats a maybe.
And say the label didnt even take that route, say they aint release anything. Well seeing as how he already had his own little buzz before Ca$h Money i could see him selling atleast 15K and doing his thing.
Just becuz youre the figure head of a business (regardless of who u r or wat u sellin) at the end the day ur money doesnt mean shit if nobody likes wat you have.
Product >>> Your team >>> Chairmen (word to Q from Worldstar)
see where I'm going with this?
Hip Hop isnt gonna move without us, that day will never come. There's always some oddball nigga like Tyler or some unique bisexual like Murs to fill whatever void that needs to be filled and everybody is gonna eat it up if its good. If u watched that DJ Vlad interview with Pinky tha other week then i dont need to say anymore. 1,000,000 Blancos will necer equal 1 Raekwon. Technically yall need us more than we need yall and theres plenty of evidence to support that.
