Kendrick = refreshingly original talent

Tyler = shock value / attention whore

Kendrick kills this guy in every category and its not even close.

u know there's a reason why white folks and jews dont run hip hop.  you just make it easier to understand that point.  u have NO idea wat youre talking about, and i know that so its alright

huh?

lol son is lost, I guess he doesn't know about Lyor Cohen, Rick Rubin, Jerry Heller, Steve Rifkind, Cory Robbins and the long standing tradition of jewish entrepreneurs thriving in Hip Hop.

They're both extremely talented, they're both the future of the West Coast, and they both released sonically impressive, well thought out, critically successful concept albums, in a time where hip hop is very removed from that space.

They operate at pretty different ends of the spectrum, and I prefer Kendrick as an emcee, to me technically he's more proficient, however they are on the same level in terms of complete artistry in my opinion.

With these two guys operating at the level they are critically and commercialy, I'd say the future of West Coast music is definitely in good hands.

Sidenote - I wish "Bimmer" was longer, track is so smooth  8)

yeah "Bimmer" do jah crank.  Most of this album cranked.  I hope 1 day we'll get a Kendrick/Tyler creation

Tyler clearly has a million ideas but an artist like that needs a good production team to help him get them out coherently

sorry but you didn't create shit, just because you happen to belong to the same "community" to those who created hip-hop doesn't mean you took part of the movement. being an African-American consumer doesn't make you part of this any more than white consumers. a lot of white/jewish ppl have more legitimacy claiming hip hop than you. there were caucasian pioneers who helped create and further this movement and without their help hip-hop wouldn't be nearly as big as it is today (Ted Demme, Albert Abatiello, Rick Rubin, Sophie Bramly). matter of fact there were even foreign caucasians whose hip hop roots run deeper than yours ever will.

to get back to the topic, Tyler is nice, and definitely has skills, especially lyrical. but he's in his own lane with his own twisted humor and alternative vision of life but Kendrick is more versatile and complete imo. dude is full package, whether it be his flow, his lyrics from a purely aesthetical standpoint or the subject matter. the production on "Wolf" bodies that of GKMC though, IMHO.

Man shut tha fuck up, u dont even know wat youre talkin about.  U still think "Goblin" and "Wolf" are the same album foh.  And since youre getting all racially sensitive on me then wat about all those Black folks who never got their Front Page or 15 minutes, wat about the folks who never got a big deal but worked behind the scenes (like DJ Quik for example)?

What about the homie Clyde Stubblefield who never got an award or his proper due a day in his life in the Rap game?   U can miss me with all of that Caucasian Hip Hop Sympathy shit, its not going to work and its a retarded ass notion.  And out of all that yellin Tyler do, u still aint heard one word yet

How about u just start listening to the music instead of talking about it before u even really peeped the shit out.

Black folks made this music we love.  Respect.

As a white man, I realize since I didnt have a hand in creating hip hop, I cant criticize it like I created it.

Read a book, yall.

i haven't listened to Goblin wtf u ramblin about ? don't try to flip that racial shit on me sir cause you're the racist of the forum, and the one always making racial comments, and keep referring to "your culture".

DJ Quik had one of the biggest deals in the industry at the time (one of the only six figure deals), on Profile Records, a legendary label run by jews (Cory Robbins).

You never make any sense do you ? throwing random attacks lol.
