Title: Very Best of Death Row Track Listing??
Post by: icebergslimIII on March 19, 2005, 05:34:50 PM: Amazon now has the Very Best of Death Row cover are on their site. Anyone have a track listing? I'm sure it's going to be the same Chronic, Doggystyle classics, nothing new. Is there any unrealesed Dr Dre stuff from the Chronic making days?

Well, how many "Best of" and "Greatest Hits" albums do you know of that have unrleased tracks? Damn near every one I've got. Except maybe that Do or Die Greatest Hits....other than that almost ALL of them have UNRELEASED tracks.

Regulate is on Death Row Greatest Hits Volume 2 and that's not a Death Row song either.

Ok, first I've heard that Dre possibly had unreleased trackst from his Death Row days. If this is true, why hasn't it been released previously? I thought Dre kept his tracks at his lab at his crib? Did Dre start working on Chronic II? I remember back when California Love first came on MTV, the artist was listed as Dr Dre featuring Tupac and the name of the Album was Chornic II. I then read some interviews where Dre was pissed because Suge took "that song" and put it on Tupac's album. SO, I'm under the assumption that Dre possibly started some tracks for Chronic 2, but that shit would have already leaked by now, right??? Also, I remember Dre saying that Suge came to his house and took his masters, I'm assuming he only gave him his complted work and not anything that he was working on??
