No Diggity..
-
Michel'le - No More Lies
-
No Diggity..
Dre didn't produce no diggity

Dre didn't produce no diggity
o.

Addictive Remix
-
Dre hasn't produced one R&B cut I've felt.
-
JJ Fad - Supersonic ;D
ok i'm playing..
i dont think "fast lane" is all that at all.. Family Affair is better than that.. but i'm not sure whats my favourite of all time... some of the stuff he's done for Gwen Stefani / Eve collabo's has been tight and some stuff just for Eve
-
i gotta say "Sexy Dance" for RC off the "Dr. Dre Presents... Aftermath" album! That beat is sick! definatly check out that track!
-PEACE-
-
family affair or let me blow ya mind
-
no diggity
-
Mary J & Eve's "Not Today". The beat is addictive and the ladies vocal's sound so perfected on that one. Mary's singing was excellent & Eve killed it on her verse. Mainly though, I dig it because of the beat.
-
what he didnt produce no diggity??
then ima go wid Family Affair
-
nope.. no diggity was by teddy riley
-
can someone hook it up with no diggity??
-
don't u know this one with devin the dude : "it's a shame". off the hook !!!

I definitely agree. I was hooked on that shit in 03, soon as I heard Eve come in killin it.
-
"Family Affair"
That is one of my favorite Dre beats ever. Just imagine if it was a rap song.

I don't think Dre produced that track. From what I remember, Dre only produced "Fame", "East Coast Killa/West Coast Killa", and "Been There Done That" off that album.
.....and some of the songs ya'll have been picking like "Blow Your Mind" aren't even R&B songs, they just have an R&B hook....... And as for "Family Affair" that track is waaaayyy too pop to be Dre's dopest R&B cut, "Fast Lane" has streat sensibility.
-
if Don´t Worry would´ve been a Mary J solo song i would´ve went with it but i guess i gotta go with Family Affair coz i really liked that shit.
-
"Not Today" & "Family Affair" by Mary J. Blige
"Let the Madness Begin" by R.C. if he did that
-
Bilal - Fast Lane, but thats probably because Bilal actually has talent rather than most of the other RnB artists that Dre has produced for.
BTW, where does everyone get the idea that Dre produced No Diggity from?
-
My favorite is probably Bilal's fast lane remix with Dre and Jada rapping in it.
but his most successful is probably Family Affair
-
Family Affair is one of the best Beats Dre ever did. Huge hit, great dance song, nice head bobbing beat, hard to beat that one. Greatest R&B cut he ever did, imo.
-
I don't see how Family Affair is an R&B cut. It's basically the same beat as "X" with Mary J singing on it, basically Mary J singing on a hip hop track. That's what it sounds like to me. Honestly I've never heard a Dre cut that really sounded like R&B, like the cuts you hear from Timbaland or DJ Quik, but I'll have to check out that Eve and Mary cut, since yall givin it props.
-
its not an R&B cut strictly speaking, but i did like step on by (king t) a lot, thought that was exceptionally smooth.
-

Not being funny, but that's just a weird statement to me.
Considering Dre's legacy... and the fact that that is (arguably) one of his weakest beats... that's just fucked up...
Seriously; you reckon that "family affair" is better than most of the Chronic and Chronic 2001? It's ok if that's so but jeez...
-

Actually, Step on By is pretty much an R&B cut. It is definitely more R&B than "Family Affair".
-
I like those two cuts that are on Murder Was The Case OST.
Thats prolly the best ones if he produced them not sure dont have the soundtrack anymore.
The Danny Boy song and the song called Horny by some singer.
-
Michel'le no More Lies Woz his best R&B joint
closely followed by family affair and not today

Danny Boy "Come When I Call" was produced by Quik
and B-Rezell "Horny" was produced by Kevin Lewis and Marc McWilliams

It's R&B because it's Mary J. Blige. What else would it be?
Rock? No
Rap? No
Country? No
Jazz? No
Fusion? No
Hip-Hop? Questionable, but No, it's just singing.
It's R&B, from one of the greatest R&B singers of all time, Mary J. Blige

deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuts!!!

Dr Dre did produce no diggity. Dr Dre produced the original toss it up, which was like a mix of the toss it up beat and the no diggity beat. Dre woulda credited teddy for it so he doesnt face any legal action by deathrow records. We all know Dr Dre did that, that beat has Dre written all over it

show and prove.. because i've seen interviews where teddy riley has been fucked off that people miscredit dre with that song.. so what does that say?
you gotta remember that toss it up / no diggity etc sample the same song.. so of course they'll sound similar.. that doesnt mean its Dre's fingerprints on it.

Blackstreet: This isn't really much of a rivalry. People have just wondered why "Toss It Up" and "No Diggity" sound alike as well as "I Ain't Mad At Cha" and "Don't Leave Me." Blackstreet just said that it was a coincedence but it could be because Teddy Riley and Aaron Hall were partners and worked on the same beats. Teddy Riley then incorporated those beats in with Blackstreet and Aaron Hall with Tupac. I have heard that the original "Toss It Up" was identical to "No Diggity" and had to be completely changed though. There is also speculation that Dre stole some of Tupac's beats and used them when he worked with Blackstreet and also when he worked with Nas which could explain the similar, if not identical, beats between some of Tupac's and Nas's work

just coz he sings a bit doesnt make it rnb

RC - Sexy Dance
produced by Dr. Dre & Bud'da, is his best r&b cut.
