Had a quick listen this morning.

I thought the first half of the tape was very very meh, and probably won't take another listen. I didn't like the basic production, and didn't like Game's rapping / flow on the tracks, felt very lazy and flat. Mixtape cover trash too, what happened to the days of badass mixtape covers that really helped to sell the product? The art these days is so forgetful vs back in the early 00's.

Just finishing up, but I certain think the last third of the tape has the strongest tracks.

It feels like the first batch of tracks is literal mixtape trash, then the last batch are cuts from the new album tha ain't make the cut.

Good to see Game back regardless, really enjoying the last tracks as I write this!

I kinda agree with your assessment on first listen.

I am on 2nd spin in my car and sounds better but I still agree with you about the first half of the tape.

The 1st half lacks energy/conviction from Game's delivery, flow was ok but he was not taking charge of the productions.

For me it gets better and good from track 10 - The Coast Guard...I feel his energy more on the beats and enjoyed the tape till the end from here.

If this is the trailer for Document 3, then I'm looking forward to it (haven't said this about any Gamr project in a while).

Nate Dogg's brother, Sam Dogg, said in an an interview a few months back that Snoop went to their mothers house and convinced her to give him Nate's music which they were holding onto for his children.

Sam Dogg also gave Daz a shout out it in the same interview as a "real one". If Daz was able to present himself better online I think people would take his issues with Snoop more seriously, Snoop seems to be on some shady shit.

Let me put it this way, the album is something special.
What I don't quite understand is this Track. God Mode (Feat. Conway The Machine & The Game)
Erick simply built the perfect beat for every duo, I wouldn't say, but still at a very high level.
What I noticed is that this track is quieter in terms of volume.

Tray Deee is great.  Wackest line i can remember is from REALITY when he says "I'm on a nigga's ass like bumpy zits".  Wasn't really feeling that one.

Nope I am not joking bro, I have been a Game supporter since 2003 and know his whole catalog including his mixtapes. Drillmatic was to me a very confusing project. Like he tried it with drill type beats and other styles that don't match his rapping at all. This DJ Drama mixtape though is exactly what I want from game. Bars and soulful, grimy beats. That's his best lane! Hope he continues this style for Doc III ! Not saying every track is perfect on this tape, but a lot of good tracks to me!
