Why wasn't "My People" included on TBCT?

Was the song even recorded for Tha Blue Carpet Treatment? Battlecat came with a simple yet tight production and Snoop Dogg's flow was on point. Snoop also repping the West and throwing out peoples names to be heard. It is one of my favorite Snoop songs I'vw heard in a while.

It was purely a promotional track designed to get the hype built up at the end of summer, i dont believe it was ever intended for the retail...

during the summertime i would have hated for "thats my people" to be on TBCT, but now that I have it. I would definately switch that out for a track, like the warzone or western union tracks that are there only for promotional purposes;
