Do you agree with him ?

Kanye West is one of the most passionate musicians i know, and it is mistaken for arrogance at times

He's definitely one of the most passionate artists right now. Just look at his live shows, videos etc., he always tries to create something special that has never done before.

What's never been done before about his shows?

And can you actually call him a Musician, (with regards to what common said)? What does he play and how well does he play it? Or does saying "hey that sounds cool. Loop it, speed it up and let me rap over it" now count as a musical instrument. That's calling he guy who edits the trailer of a film a writer/director.

do u guys even remember when college dropout first dropped????? IMO kanye really saved the game at that point when that shit dropped.....before it was all crunk shit on the radio, and kanye comes in with shit like Slow Jams and All Falls Down and Jesus Walks.....he brought back that sampling sound of hip hop with his own style, and the man really knows and understands music.....SMH at dude not thinkin hes a musician, if thats ur definition of musician then kanye is a producer, Miri Ben Ari would be a fuckin musician....bein a producer is way more significant than bein a musician, producers use musicians to get the sound they want....

Kanye brought back Hip-Hop. And Shallow, with your low opinion on Hip-Hop, why you hear. You come, talk underground this, greatest hip-hop albums ever that, and then you like these cats ain't artist. Man, seriously, why you hear, what you bitter about. You want to explain your side, go to a message board of haters, shouldn't be hard.

As for Kanye, he brought back that real Hip-Hop, and single-handily brought back the Chi. He resurrected Common's career, gave Twista his first radio single in years, and is introducing Chicago talent. If he can pull this off correctly, at the end he'd be the Mid-West's Dr. Dre.
