I want to say that I always hoped to come to Manchester City and I’m excited about my future there,” he said.

Yeah, every kid's dream right there...

 ;D

the Spanish World Cup winger has agreed a four-year deal worth a staggering £140,000-a-week.

:-X this is fucked up

fucked up ?

Yes, how many clubs are there out there that can afford to pay those wages. I bet Silva hadn't even heard of the club before they came in with an offer. No-one else could offer him this much money so how is it not fucked up?

sure....fucked up just because we are talking about manchester city and not united   ::)

Manchester City's £17m bid for Wayne Bridge rival Aleksandar Kolarov accepted by Lazio

Kolarov, who made two appearances for Serbia during the World Cup, has yet to agree personal terms with City.

But with manager Roberto Mancini appearing to have reached a successful conclusion to his month-long pursuit of the 24 year-old, Bridge's future at Eastlands now looks increasingly uncertain.

The former Chelsea defender endured a turbulent campaign last season, with a long-term knee injury and poor form threatening his position in the team.

And although Mancini kept faith in the defender, issuing strong public backing during the scandal involving then-England captain John Terry and Bridge's former partner which led to the player retiring from international football, doubts over his top-level ability remained.

Should Kolarov agree personal terms and complete a medical, he will follow summer signings David Silva, Yaya Toure and Jerome Boateng into Eastlands.

Joe Hart, the City keeper, has cut short his summer break to fly to Portland for the club's pre-season training camp in the United States. Hart, an unused substitute during England's World Cup campaign, had not been due to report back for training until the end of next week.

Another fuckin good signing!
Kolarov is strong, fast and he got a fuckin killer left foot.
