that album was alright but nothing mindblowing... i don't think it had much mainstream appeal or crossover potential. too bad for tha row it never came out.

i think it could've really brought death row back i mean imagine if they realeased visuals to off tha chain that shit was a monster then followed it up with the unreleased copy of enormous that shit would've went multi platinum and could've even brought back kurupt's career and opened a lane for eastwood too. Shit would've brought Death Row to the forefront. They could no longer blackball them!

I think Death Row was designed to have a limit to it even tho most of the material that was made on the label was pure gold.  It was a design, no a Def Jam.  Matter of fact it was like a counter to Def Jam as an experiment.

Petey has some great tracks. Good sound on the mic and original lyrics wise.

I actually really enjoyed the same eyez on me "album." Still bump it regularly. Petey wasn't great lyrically but he had a great flow and solid song structure. He also could make a hit. You could hear potential singles on his material. Pushed properly it could have some success, like his other two albums. It wouldn't have brought deathrow back or any nonsense like that though.

Production wise the album had some bangers (still bump the title track from time to time), but to me Petey Pablo is just awful lyrically, seems like most of his rhymes are shit or don't even rhyme period.
