Whats the club scenes like in yall hometowns? Im talkin hip hop.

Here in Toronto, we gots our fair share of banging clubs. The following tracks are examples of shit that gets played here:

dancehall gets played here major, kardinal always get played, thats all i can think of now

Here in Vancouver, as far as hip hop, it's mostly westcoast that gets played.  Strangley enough tho, they never play any canadian music.  A lot of R&B gets played too.

our clubs here pretty much just play the commercial shit, whatevers hot at the time. they play a few classics every now and again, but the selection is ver limited.

main music at the clubs i go to is UK Garage. its kinda hard to explain it, but its like house music with choppy break beats and a more underground urban flavor, and theres fast MC-ing over it.

Unless forced . i only go to... jungle... not so much recently since my homies switching from playing that to playing... Nu Skool Breakz since i've not missed a single night of his.. gotta be coming up to 9 months now no commercial shite. sometmies undeground Hiphop.. scratch perverts, Phi-Life Cypher i missed Taskforce the other week plus Aspects when they in town (think i've named dropped them on this board enuf... need to see em tho heard they kicked one of the guys i know in the group out :/)

we gotta fairly new club here that puts on one hiphop night with stuff like the artists i mentioned abve and one jungle night a month.. big big names like grooverider have been on those, kosheen is there next month. plus another club has the nu skool night... all good he used to do a jungle night there too but that nights kinda stopped now.

also helps that we've been around the towns underground scene for about 12 years now, going to illegal parties n that.. ya know in the summer we normally end up at a few

and yeah.... no west coast stuff.... only at work, home and in the car

i've seen all the big house names and everything there... but i hate it... lol

I live in Brantford right now and we dont really got a club scene here. Just lots of crime and house partys.  I go to London quite abit to bars and clubs there.  They play alot some Canadian hiphop but not much...Mostly whatevers hot at the time, right now its 50, Snoop, Ludacris, Dre, Eminem, Fat Joe, ect ect...Pretty much whatvers hot at the time gets love + old school shit.

most of the clubs in my city (Perth) are dance/trance/whatever clubs .. we got like 2 or 3 hiphop clubs here, which mainly play ja rule & shit like that, they play the occasional old westcoast hit, thats about it tho. i only really goto the dance clubs, hiphop clubs are fucked when you're on drugs. need a happy vibe, not somethin about shootin someone up. i dont mind hiphop when im @ home by myself tho drugged up

just a random thing.. mark vedo was on that mtv date thing once.. he was a dick... lol
my mate used to play jungle for him before kool waters was started in a club that used to be down the road from me (kingstons) it got shut down coz there was a big riot against the police n someone bricked a copper.  my mate stopped messin wit him coz this guy who was seeing a girl we knew convinced he was full of shit.. and this guy was running a night called Kaos in barnstaple (even tho Vedo paid him and this guy never did)... anyways Vedo blew up.. this guys probably been busted for his dealing activities... lol
