"Words 2 My Firstborn". I aint feeling Quik's work for this track. OG was incredibly better, and this mix aint good at all. But maybe it's cause the OG is a classic track. I dunno.... that's why i'd love to see Quik working for this album. Cause i know he's tight. I'm sure he cant make 2 consecutive wrong mixes..
your fuckin high on crack if you didnt like that song... that was probably the best track on the whole fucking album. it was alot better than those sorry as beats from them lame ass muthafuckas that never even met pac before!

Btw, i'd love DJ Quik to produce 1-2 tracks from the album too, but i'm still very disappointed from "Words 2 My Firstborn". I aint feeling Quik's work for this track. OG was incredibly better, and this mix aint good at all. But maybe it's cause the OG is a classic track. I dunno.... that's why i'd love to see Quik working for this album. Cause i know he's tight. I loved that track, but each to their own I guess. Anyways, the best track Quik has done for 'Pac has to be "Late Night", that beat is awsome, possibly one of Quik's best too imo. I hope if one or both versions of "Late Night" end up on this album that they don't fuck with the beat.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

Relax, man. Opinions are like assholes, remember? Everybody got one. I dont like the UTEOT version of the track: i loved Nutt-so's version hella more (the beat too, with the sax). This Quik version aint classic imo. The unreleased Quik first mix (with the hook and without ATL) was still good (but still not better than the OG), but i aint feeling this UTEOT one. But, like i said, it doesnt mean Quik sucks! Quik is still Quik, no matter what! And what's your point about those other "lame ass muthafuckas that never even met pac before"? We are talking about music. If Fred Wreck makes a tight as fuck beat for Pac, i'll not say "This bitch never worked with Pac so i dont want to listen to his track". If it's good, it's good. If it's wack, it's wack! No matter who did the beat.

Yeah, the 2 "Late Night" versions are both tight. That's the Quik and Pac i love! But it was easier to make that track cause Pac was still alive and he actually rapper OVER that beat. It wasnt just a remix. I dont think it's easy to create a whole new beat just to fix it over an accappella. Btw isnt the Quik & Lawz version already released? You want them to release it again without mixing it? Mmmm.. ;D

Joking... ;)

I would love Pac on a Premo beat  :o

I think Murder Inc having a small role on the double album wont be that bad, it will get Pac more exposure, and its just music at the end of the day, so enjoy listening to it, rather than bitching about it. When we have no 'new'  Pac shit, everyone complains, then we get it, ppl still complain... >:(

I think it was the AMG and Quik version that was released weren't it? I only have the radio edit of that version though, u got the explicit version? Have u heard the 7 minute mix someone made, where both versions were mixed together so the Lawz, Quik and AMG all had verses too? Thats a dope mix.
