we have so much great producers there:

Dre (Thx for bringiung out so much artists), Quik (Luv his style), Daz fo sho ... But i also like Premier.

Also, 'Pac's LP would have done major numbers as a result of his popularity (and that of Death Row, which Dre was mainly responsible for) with or without Dre's tracks, but you gotta admit "Cali Love" was a monster anthem and had a lil' something to do with the success of the album.

I may be crucified for saying this, but I agree more with Deeyo than most of y'all.  Not to say there isn't great talent on the west outside of the Dre camp, but most of these artists wouldn't have had the opportunity to make a career out of rap music if it weren't for the success of NWA & Death Row.  It's like Dre said in an interview from like '96, if it wasn't for The Chronic, 50% of these cats wouldn't have a job (referring to rappers from both coasts).  Dre proved that hardcore rap could sell units and people have been piggybacking that for over a decade now.
