It's pretty ironic that in the NBA the are forcing players to wear suits and the NFL doesn't allow COACHES to wear suits.

That's what they're used to, they're not trying to change who they are but the NBA is. And the players don't have a problem with dressing up nice but making them wear suits on the plane ride, when they enter the arena, when they're injured and on the bench, during interviews.

It's not ironic at all. Do you even know what the word "ironic" means? There's absolutely nothing about that that's ironic. To explain it better, let me also point out that Basketball is played indoors on a parquet floor; football is played outdoors on the grass. If you had half a fucking brain, you wouldn't expect a man standing on a grass football field to wear dress shoes, and you can't wear a business suit if you're wearing sneakers.Indoors, on a waxed wood floor, it's a fucking BRILLIANT idea to have people wear Business Casual attire.

There's your problem. A Racist Mentality. Just because they're blacks from the ghetto, they can't be expected to dress nice, right? We should expect them to dress like thugs. They don't have to wear suits. Re-phrase the lies you're spewing on people. they don't have to wear suits. Nobody is required to wear a suit, they're required to wear khakis and a polo shirt. Think about that for a minute. You've got a problem with THAT? When they enter the arena, they're WORKING. When they're on the bus, they're out representing their company, they're WORKING. If you don't like your job, leave. I agree with that.
What's wrong with wanting to present yourself in the best way possible? If I was in the player's position, I would definitely dress nice on the sidelines. Remember how Michael Jordan dressed? Ballplayers used to always dress nice on the sidelines, it's only been the last couple of years where things have gotten out of hand.I have no problem with what Stern is doing.
Trauma, you cant speak on this....youre a 50 year old white guy lol.

I don't feel comfortable in polo shirts and dress shoes, alot of NBA players probably feel the same way. And explain to me how that's a racist mentality.

"Wanted to wear a suit" blah blah blah. IT'S A FUCKING GRASS FIELD. YOU DON'T WEAR A SUIT WHEN YOU WORK ON THE DIRT. Ultimately, it's fucking irrelevant anyways, the NBA and the NFL are two totally different things, owned by two totally different groups of people, with two totally different business models and ideas of what they want their players to represent.

I live in the ghetto and most people wear sneakers and jeans, There are a small percentage that dress up unless it's going to a party.
