After the September 11 terrorist attacks, Dr. Dre was rumored to be recording anti-Osama bin Laden songs. The subject first arose on CNN when the Eminem and Snoop Dogg producer was featured.

Representatives for Dr. Dre's label Interscope have maintained that Dr. Dre never intended to release any songs attacking the lead suspect in the September 11 attacks.

Dr. Dre recently spoke about the confusion over any potential recordings on the matter. Dr. Dre said that he has not recorded any songs about bin Laden. "We were in the studio clowning, and we put some lyrics together, and I'm actually glad I didn't put them on the mic 'cause somehow the tape would have got out. But it was us just wilding out," he said. "Letting off some aggression."

Dr. Dre has three songs on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. "Bad Intentions" featuring Knoc-turn'al is Number 37, "The Wash" with Snoop Dogg is Number 48, and "Put It On Me," an effort with DJ Quik and Mimi, is Number 62. He additionally produced Mary J. Its not doing good cuz noone has seen the video, once that drops i am sure it will help.......although i can't see The Wash completely blowing up cuz it lacks a catchy chorus and the beat is laidback, not meant for the clubs.  I love it though

Didn't mellowman say dre recorded this song and it sounded hardcore like an old NWA song?  But Dre is quoted as saying he is glad he didn't put vocals on the mike.  Hmmm.....  am I missing something all of you already know?
