^^^^ I don't think Kobe just wanted to lead a team with no purpose.. if u think Kobe doesn't want to prove he can win a title , being the 1st option and without Shaq, you're crazy  8).. be realistic Kobe won't stand the current situation for a long time.. the article link I posted is a good example , Kobe made it clear, major moves have to be made.. if not.. I'm sure you can read between the lines

^^^^ Kobe is an impatient type of guy and got ego too.. you know he wants to be on a contender team ... he ain't gonna play just in order to make the playoffs for the rest of his carreer ..
If Kobe wanted to win, he would of gotten along with Shaq. But he wanted to lead a team, and that's what he is doing. It's all on him now.

LMAO. You really think that's the problem? Kobe was more than willing to get along with Shaq. It was the coaching staff who wanted Kobe to step up as the leader of the team, when they realized Shaq was on a major decline and Kobe was on a major uprise. It was SHAQ who got jealous of Kobe's rising popularity + extreme work ethic, dissed Kobe in the media every chance he got, and cried like a baby if he didn't get his way (even when he was fat and out of shape)...Then HE demanded a trade, right after Kobe proclaimed in the media he would love to play alongside Shaq for the rest of his career. Shaq wanted an absurd amount of money, and that means Kobe would've had to take a pay-cut. Shaq bitched out when he didn't get his way...I thought you knew better, homie...PeACe

(Michael Olowokandi back when he was a good player)
lol,when was this?
Like I said he averaged 12 and 9 is final year with the Clippers. I know it hard to imagine/remember when you see him play today, but it is true. At one point he was a decent player. Injuries slowed him down to when he signed with the T-Wolves.

He wasn't decent, he sucked. Those numbers meant nothing on the Clippers. Dude was always ALL size. No post up game, shitty defense, horrible footwork, no offensive moves, no basketball IQ, NOTHING. He would purely score and get rebounds off his size alone...PeACe

By NBA standards what more can you want from a center? He was still young at the time and that Clippers and T-Wolves thought he could still approve.

Did you ever actually watch him play, or are you just looking at the numbers? Dude flat out SUCKS/SUCKED/WILL SUCK. He has nothing...Pretty much anyone can put up those numbers by using their size and hustling...Especially when a team is tryna push you as a major part of their core and give you undeserving minutes. Clippers knew he sucked, thats why they didn't re-sign him. Wolves were the ones fooled by his numbers, just like you...PeACe
