Illuminati 2G caught up with Problem for a exclusive interview. We talk about his work with Terrace Martin and Snoop, his soon to be SMASH single Whereva You Like that just recently dropped, his new album and much more. Check it out.

Shit man...just lovin life....

Tell me a little bit about how you got your start in the game.

I got my financial start (meaning the first time I got a big ass check..lol) from hookin up wit Terrace Martin...We were doin records and one day he up and said "let's write something for snoop"..I'm like fuck it..we did "Neva Hafta Wurry" that night and its been lovely every since.

You and Terrace Martin have great chemistry on tracks. Do you guys have anything else cooked up that is set to come out?

Anything I have coming out, he will be involved in and vice versa..That's my dog..He and Ed Jones are the most influential pieces to my success in this business. T just dropped his radio single "Make It Last" featuring myself and Uncle Chucc. It's crazy!!

Man can't wait to hear it. Working with Snoop, Quik, Kurupt and other west coast legends, what is the best word of advice that they have given you?

They put the "fuck it" in my music meaning don't think, just let it flow. Fuck what anybody says or thinks. Just fly!

Is the Kurupt/Problem album still a go? I know both of you have many projects in the works.

Right now, that's on hold..him and Quik or droppin a album entitled "Blackout" so that's the focus..we got a monster on their together!!

Do you have any upcoming mixtapes in the works or set to drop?

Just dropped "Deal Or No Deal2" wit Dow Jones..I'm workin on a tape tiltled "F.D.H. (Fa Da Hoez) Problem presents Jason Martin" so u should know what's that about..lol..and. A couple more things that I'll keep to myself..ssshhhh

Ok let's get into your solo work. How did your new single Whereva You Like come about?

Got the track from The Bizness and I couldn't stop listening to the beat!!..its crazy!!.then I got loaded and turned on the mic and the rest is history...and let me say this..I'm not biting T.I..my song hit radio in L.A. (Shouts to Power106) days before his but with him being a megastar, u know why his spread faster than mines..and I love his record so fans don't try to start no beef bullshit..Obama's in office now. Lol

Yeah that beat is insane to that. I will be honest with you, the track has hit/club banger all over it. It sounds like something that would get huge radio/video play. Did you feel that way once it was done?

Yes. The format is radio friendly, catchy hook, easy to learn, bangin ass beat! could'nt lose

Will Whereva You Like be the lead single from the album?

One of them..I plan on dropping 2 more records before the album..I want the fans to know I'm more than just a record..and if u think "Whereva You Like" is crazy, just wait....I got some shit for that ass.

Oh I am already knowing man. Is there any details that you can give about your debut album?

Yeah...I've been told by some pretty credible sources that I have a classic on my hands..from top to bottom.

Ok sounds good. You along with Glasses, Jay Rock, Omar Cruz and a few other artists from the west got new videos popping up now. What are your thoughts on west coast music right now?

I love the growth..every artist you named has a different type of record out which is huuuge.

Yeah the west is very diverse with the music that is coming out right now. Do you have any more plans to work with Snoop again?

Hell yeah..lmao..we get blowed and act up in the studio...I just sit there and take it all in; the plaques, the knowledge, the all around star quality you need to succeed..I'm like a sponge my dog.

Yeah that is a hell of a artist to learn from. Do you have any upcoming shows or tours scheduled in the near future?

Nuthin set in stone but stay tuned....
