Sedale Threatt

ha ha ha... only 2 years as a starter, mainly Van Exel's back up. But he was good, and if Magic never retired, he would have great off the bench, like he was suppose to be used.

I ever tell you i use to play ball with Stu Lance's son Shane?  He tried out for the Lakers at the time Sedale and Van Exel were there. No chance at getting on at PG then.  They also had Eddie Jones at the 2.

PF Elden Campbell
C Vlade Divac

bench
Sedale Threatt
Anthony Peeler
George Lynch
Anthony "Pig" Miller
Corie Blount

forgot the rest... lol.. but that was their main rotation back in those day... all young and all hungry at that time.

is this another one of your joke threads? Gail Goodrich, easily...Fisher is a role player. Goodrich was a superstar who's jersey hangs in the rafters...LOL. come on, Mdogg. that's 2 in a row.

Well, not really, Because Fisher has been more money that Goodrich. Goodrich has the stats and the All Star games, BUT Fisher has the titles and the clutch moments. Goodrich was never able to be that closer, except for 1972, his playoff stats never matched up to his season stats. Now better point guard, Goodrich easy, but greatness is usually defined by titles.

okay...robert horry was also greater than bob mcadoo. lmao...you're a funny guy.

Which is why I can remember him... lol. I remember him coming into the games, and being like... OMG, please just play D and Nick shot over him when he post... ha ha ha ha.

As an overall player, McAdoo is a hall of famer of course and as a Laker, a great defender and the enforcer to the Showtime Era. If I had to re do the line ups, I'd put McAdoo in there instead of Horry. At the time I was thinking of my all Laker team though, I kept thinking of this shot.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/E3iV4aYvopM&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x006699&amp;color2=0x54abd6" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/E3iV4aYvopM&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x006699&amp;color2=0x54abd6</a>

Other than that, I think my all Laker team is pretty good. You had a 6'5" PF, when of course if James Worthy and Elgin Baylor were on the court together, Worthy would be the 4, and of course that's why the Lakers always had players like Green or McAdoo, because Worthy was not a banger, and neither was Baylor. Baylor was the original slasher, who drove the lane with great steps and lay ups and dunks. He was the precursor to Dr. J, and in his later years, when the players got bigger, Baylor played SF.

^LOL...again, worthy is not nearly as physical a player as baylor was, so you're completely off with that...baylor could play like barkley and as a matter of fact, he averaged 13.5 rebounds a game. he was a beast on the boards. if russell is considered a center in that era, baylor can definitely be considered a power forward, and baylor has been used as a power forward throughout his career...PeACe

PS...I brought up mcadoo and horry because mcadoo is to horry as goodrich is to fisher. really no comparison. 2 of them are great hall of famers and the other 2 are great role players. comparing role players to hall of fame superstars is really ridiculous, when you really think about it...PeACe

 ???

Of course Russell is a center, his 6'10" and beat a guy who was 7'1". That's a center. The only short power foward today was round.

Of course you know all, so why bother, but still Baylor was a 3.

I know what will convince you Baylor was a SF... THE COMPLETE IDIOTS GUIDE TO BASKETBALL.... In order to talk to an idiot, I have to reference a book for idiots.

first of all, Russell was 6'9" 215 pounds...Elgin Baylor was 6'5" 225 and, again, had a career average of 13.5 rebounds. LOL. talk about idiots and basketball. and why you postin a pic of out of shape Barkley? you know he wasnt THAT fat when he was playin in the league. Barkley=6'4" in the 90's...6'5" in the 80's is like 6'10" nowadays...Yes, Baylor was naturally a 3, but he was also used as a 4 at times, and the fact that you don't know this is quite sad.

but on the real, this thread was ONLY made because of his heroics last night lol.

Wait a minute, you just said what I said. Baylor was a natural 3, early in his career his a 4, but as people in the league got bigger, he switched to 3.

yea, but i still dont see why you tried to knock me putting him as a 4 on an all-time Laker team when he's the best player to ever play the 4 for us. whatever, though...this doesnt really have shit to do with the topic. LOL.
