coolwaters of "under pressure"?You had the new Eminem album being announced, Game releasing his first street- singel from R.E.D, Hayes singel about to drop within two weeks... still no sign at all of the Dre & Hova track. This make me think a bit about the Detox myth theory (that the album doesn´t excists). Dre announcing his singel is about to drop draws a lot of attention to him and the rest of the Aftermath rooster, and that´s excactly what´s happening right now. Although a new Eminem album promotes itself, cats like the newcomer Hayes needs all the publicity and hype he can get. This is of course all speculation from my part, I just found it kind of weird that we are suddenly seeing all this activity from a label that drops 1 cd a year
How long has it been since Dre said ''hopefully in 2 weeks'' ? .around 2 weeks right? Or am I wrong?I think its about 2 weeks and we can still get it any day now I believe.Game June 15.Eminem June 22.and Dre in ... August? Seems like a dope build up.

Seems like a dope build up.Even if Dre announced the release would happen within two weeks, it aint gonna happen. I am now 100% convinced that Detox is just a marketing skam to promote the Aftermath artists. Come to think of it, Dre is not the one who`s promoting Detox. It's the obsessed fanboys and twitter bitches who make fake snippets of the track, claims they've heard it, heard Dr.Dre at a sound check @ Coachella and so on...

Slowly but surely people are starting to see the light.

It's the obsessed fanboys and twitter bitches who make fake snippets of the track, claims they've heard it, heard Dr.Dre at a sound check @ Coachella and so on...u and 'detox is a myth' (user) will see that you are wrong.. the hype bout the detox/aftermath was keepin by internet, not by dre or anybody involved in the detox project, and dre couldnt really say that it will happen like that, im sure he has worked on detox, thats sure, im also sure that it will drop.. u ppl are just impatient and cant understand that dre gave us wrong informations only like 2-3 times, which happenes to every rapper, everybody moves their release dates, but dre is a gigant in the music industry so ppl are even more impatient if its bout it.... i dont know can u see that, but u made a conspiracy theory bout a hip-hop album lol
For all we know it is quite possible that not one track has been produced for the project. And what you say about the fans keeping the interest around Detox alive is quite true, but: let's not forget that any rapper or producer that speaks on the project draws alot of attention to themselves, and many of them has done so. Every year we get a small glimse of hope from either Dre himself or a Aftermath artist saying that it will drop "soon", or "this year. Here your claims that "not Dre or anybody involved in the Detox project" promotes it, is wrong. And as I've said earlier, if you put the facts (what we know) into concideration: it is quite that possible that Detox doesn't excists. To give criticism to the fans for being impatient is a rude comment indeed when you take into concideration that people have been waiting 10 fucking years for the album to drop. But hey, what's 10 years right?Of course I see that Dre gives us the wrong information, why the hell do you think this thread is for? He has been bullshitting the fans for 10 years now with this thing, not 2-3 times as you claim. The sole reason for the Detox myth is excactly the reign of dubious information the public has gotten over the years
The buzz simply isn't enough. If Detox isn't the biggest selling album of the year, then Dre will consider it a failure. This album is supposed to be the most anticipated album in history, so it needs to live up to expectations. They put out news that the single with Jay Z will drop, but it didn't - because there wasn't enough anticipation from outside Hip Hop blogs. Therefore, Dre will release Eminem and Game first, to get his buzz up. Therefore expect some of Dre's best production ever on those two projects (he needs the world to start talking about him again). This is the truth.
