Jerry Jones wanted to be like Al Davis, but he forgot that in the 70's and 80's, during the Raiders' heyday Ron Wolf was the GM.

Similar personality to Al i guess, but its all about him.Him firing Garrett at this juncture would involve him admitting hes wrong about him, and that aint happening anytime soon.

Well, I'm almost positive he'a going to throw the boat at Sean Payton when it comes to cash. It all depends on whether Payton wants to stay in New Orleans or not. Had he promoted Payton in the first place and kept Wade at DC the Cowboys have gotten a ring or two by now.
Im a huge cowboys fan, grew up in the 90s heyday. I completely agree with u.We need a GM, buuuut......" Never gonna happen" - paraphrased quote from jerry himself.Sucks.In the short term we need a coach. Garretts not the answer.
