Id much rather listen to unreleased tracks from the 90s than new music even from OGsthis track was released in '97 but never heard it till this yearInfinite was this you spitting on this?
yeah... that's definitely me on the track.. I just don't mention it much because I want to make it on my own and not riding Kurupt's coat tails... They wanted to sign me but they wouldn't let me keep my publishing and Suge taught me how important the publishing is. The deal Kurupt had landed me with Sony would've given me a million up front and then a million album budget but I told Clive Davis to fucc off that if he ain't gonna let me keep my publishing then I'm not here to be anybodies slave.
sometimes u bet on yourself and you win and sometimes u get nerlens noeled
DOC Helter Skelter
he was in his late 20’s maybe 30 tops when he released it in 1996
lol.. man I still laugh when I reflect on Too Short being 29 years old in 1996 and coming out with his swan song "Gettin It" riding off into the sunset of retirement, they feature his retirement on that classic Rhyme and Reason documentary--because back in 1996 we thought 30 was old.Now look at it... Too Short still fucking rapping with that Mount Rushmore shit, and then wack ass Jay-Z and Master P used it as a marketing tool publicity stunt everyone forgets Jay-Z was calling his 98' album his "last album" and Master P pulled the same stunt that year when he released Da Last Don. But I think Too Short was really doing it for real, he just changed his mind
now larry david doin the same ish with curb
