the saddest new of it all would be if cube signed to shady/aftermath..............straight aftermath for cube means he'd loose no respect or nuttin cuz, he gon get straigh dre ex.produced cd..........but shady/aftermath........thats pretty sad...i guess u only can get a cd out on aftermath if u signed with someone else.....like sahdy recs or g-unit n co

The fuck are you talking about? How does having a part deal with Shady make Ice Cube lose credibility or how is that sad? (IF he's signed that is, remember that grain of salt!)Don't see anything wrong in Shady Records. They're well established and got good connections to the majors in hip-hop. Label stuff - It's business, nothing else.

Besides, even if Cube was signed to Bad Boy it didn't mean that Dre couldn't executive produce his album.

About the news though - ain't no way they're dropping so many albums during the same year. Banks is likely to drop around that time, the rest is kinda hard to tell, but one thing's for sure - Dre ain't dropping Detox in November. I could be money on it. A new Xzibit record by July also seems  little fast.

And about Ice Cube & Hoo Bangin' - Westside Connection is with Hoo Bangin', but Cube doesn't have a solo deal with them, as far as I know.

homie its obvious u dono shit, i dono if u a eminem groupie or not but it dont matter how big shady records is or how many connections its got........if cube signed direct to shady recs.......it'd be like dre gettin a cd exec produced by snoop, or eminem exec producin a cube cd...... tis called respect and credibility within the hiphop circle..........signing to aftermath is str8 tope for cube.........shady/aftermath should be kept for young'ns........not for OGz like cube.......i dont mind eminem producin a cut on their since he will now since its signed to shady/aftermath since its bound to happen.......but to much eminem involvement and cube signing a 50/50 with shady/aftermath aint too respectable im my eyes........but somehow i think it comes down to albums gettin released and jimmy iovine regardin aftermath.........someone needs to interview dre n clear alot of shit up.......

my guess is that if cube has signed 50/50 with shady/aftermath, then it was for the money. dre probably wasn't gonna spend so much money on cube, and cube wants to make money, so why not get Dre & Em to chip in? Cube will probably handle the album himself anyway & pick his own producers, its not like they are gonna make him use the beats

i think its dope news on him signing to shady/aftermath......at least now its for sure (yeah yeah i know bout the grain of salt shyt)....but if it is for real.,,,,i think it will be great.....a plain aftermath contract probally wouldnt work out  (eg: RAKIM, KING T, HITTMAN)......at least wit a joint venture it will be for sure come out....dat is if he actually did sign.... and for the ppl who said ish bout lots of possible em beats....look at 50 cents album em only made acouple beats on dat album.....and besides.....cube worked with a variety of different producers on his past albums...look at bomb squad they did practically did the whole first album of cubes....whats wrong wit him rappin on alot of em beats.....im sure em knows how great cube is so i  would bet money dat em would make him the best shit hes possible of making.... for cube......CHUUUCH!!!
