They're a lot betta then Elektra, nate's album hasn't been released over here as far as I can tell.

Universal are better, they got Warren's out here quick.. but he complained about promotion too.

i haven't seen either album on shelves here and i refuse to pay neally a tenna extra to get them imported, so an empty spot will remain on my shelf for when i see the albums here.....

snoop would not go 5x platnium,  wit good promotion,  he would maybe go 3 x plat,  but no way 5x.  Ja rule is pop an he dont even go 5x.  U snoop fans act like 2x platnium is bad,  that is excellent,  u know how many rappers would kill to push those many units,  now a days goin 1x platnium is very good for a rappers,  its not like tha early an mid 90's anymore where every rapper seemed to atleast gold

tom is on point once again

ja ain't pushin 5 millions units cause people like u think he sold out to rap music to go pop , so most of his records sale goin to girls and white kids thinkin they bumpin some good rap music, and the categorie ain't the same neither pop can't be compared to hip hop, hip hop is underated nowadays , less then before but still , so from where u comin with ja rule , thats what i ain't takin so stop bitchin about it homeboy

I hear yall, but I meant what Priority is doing in todays market, hence all my quotes were of newer status.

Snoop could easily go 4-5 times platinum with the right promotion, and a radio-friendly single.
Axle is partly right about Cube, but look at his albums, look at his sales, and which artists that have been appearing on Cube's albums. Think of the potential that is in a Ice Cube album, and what Priority made out of it.
Bad Azz: Dope motherfucker, dope album, but how much have he sold? I aint even seen the album here in Norway.
Seer is right about Elektra, but that's another issue, and Nate Dogg isn't exactly hiphop, even if he got much hiphop-artists on his albums. Screw Elektra too then.
Haterats is on point with Ras Kass. How much have his albums sold? 200.000++ all together? Damn, that's poor for a dude with better lyrics than Nas, and for a Likwit/Dre-connected dude.

What they should do, is to get a Priority Hiphop-subdivision.
Just look at what Interscope got out of Def Jam.

snoop will never go 5 x platnium,  even if he drops another album better than doggystyle or if he goes completely pop,  rap is not what it once was,  be happy snoop goes 2x platnium,  those are great figures considering how long snoop has been in tha game,  look at ll cool j,  he cant even go gold,  so be happy snoop goes 2x platnium

ight slick how many rappers have sold over 5 million since 99

dre-  that was b/c of of eminem an plus it was his comeback album
nelly-  as pop as they get
outkast-  did stankonia go 5x plat,  im not sure,  but if they did,  its surprising
jay-z who has a nice mix a fans,  ranging from pop music fans to guys on tha streets dont even 5x platnium,  slickk
eminem-  cuz of pop fans an lot of hip hop heads like him

who else am i missin,  i dont even think ja rule goes 5x plat. Just going 1x platnium for a rapper is very good now a days for majority of rappers.  make a list of rappers that just have gone platnium since 99.  It aint as big as u would think

Yea aight then, but the whole point was Prioritys lack of Priority. Snoop goes 2 times platinum without promotion, think of what he could get WITH promotion. But Tom: Why you always singling out Snoop when there's other artists to speak on? Ras Kass? Bad Azz? They been getting bad threatment from Priority, even if they dope as some muthaz. If they was on Def Jam, they could sell a hella lot more records.
