1st week sales for Snoop & 2Pac!!

Well, currently, 55% of the sales have been tabulated, and these are the figures...

2PAC - Better Dayz            262,440 copies
Snoop - Paid Tha Cost..      119,235 copies

8 Mile Sdtrk sold 191,085 copies and Eminem Show is right below Snoop with sales of 113,634.

Looks like Snoop will sell around 200K copies  :-\

Pittyfull isn't even a word.  Second, those were the predicted sales so there should be no surprises.  @lso, The L@st me@l c@me out @ week before Christm@s which would HELP expl@in his huge s@les.  @lso, Snoops n@me isnt @s big @s it once w@s so you shouldnt expect those huge numbers.   Plus..the new Bust@ is on p@ce to sell f@r less th@n 100,000.  Th@t my @dmirers is "pittyfull"

Platinum is 1 million copies sold......

unless its a double album (betterdayz), it would only have to sell 500,000 actuall units to become certified platinum.. kinda a weak way to say you "went" platinum IMO.

If a double album counts for 2 sales instead of one, then Snoop will have sold almost as many copies as Pac did.  That's not bad at all.  Besides, there was tough competition this week.  Expecting huge numbers doesn't really make sense.  In the last few weeks, everyone from Ja Rule, Missy Elliot, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, Tupac, Baby, Erick Sermon, Jay-Z, and more have come out.  They're all going to cut into each others weekly sales.

2Pac's sales nearly double Snoops--its not a matter of Pac's numbers being doubled.  All things considered-Pac's sales are where I expected them and so are Snoops.  I cant get over Busta's numbers though--ouch.

Doesn't a double CD count for 2?  If someone sells 500,000 copies of a double CD, 250,000 CD's were actually picked up and purchased by someone, but it counts for 2, right?

Whether the album sucks or not is your opinion.  But to say the album isnt selling because it shows it sucks exposes how little you know about the industry.

holy fuck these are dissapointing sales for snoop dogg, man he's only gonna hit 200k first week, shit i can't believe it. looks like snoop will barely hit platinum, and he might even only go gold. Damn this is fucekn sad.
