Tash dis record for Xzibit
« on: December 21, 2002, 02:55:25 PM »
Haven't heard of this yet or seen a thread.

Tash breaks down the Xzibit/Tha Liks situation on "X-Homie" that will appear on mixtapes in the near future.

Supposedly Xzibit was talking down on the Liks in front of Snoop cause they weren't that big...They should just squash the beef cause Xzibit and the Liks make some dope music together...

LoL, it could be interesting yeah, but I think Xzibit will smash Tash & J-Ro if they go at him.
Wasn't it J.Ro who was supposed to make "The X-homie", or maybe this is just a stupid rumour..

The way I see it:
Xzibit vs. J.Ro = Xzibit easy
Xzibit vs. Tash = Pretty close, but Tash is more of a party rhymer. Edge Xzibit.
Xzibit vs. Tash & J.Ro = Can't tell..

If they both go at X, maybe X will bring re-inforcements.. (Ras Kass & Saafir)

I hope this isn't true though, the West needs unity, not more conflicts.
It may bring some publicity back West, but it isn't this kinda publicity the West need.

the way i see it is whoever comes with true stories will win it..........no body really knows why X dont be with tash n so on like he use to really, ppl say its fame that got to his head..........i dunno, maybe its effected his latest music, but a battle is a battle..........tash i believe could kill xzibit IF his actually talkin sum real shit or xzibit aint really got to worry much.......................but like whats wierd is seein all these diss each other, wat happened to the west and unity?
man another thing is that if they diss X dya think he will respond..............u neva know, maybe he'll just stay quiet....................sad to see, maybe xzibit made a mistake in leavin tash n co behind while he was blowing up, i dunno.................we will never know the full story of these things no matta how much u think u know...........but i hope they sort it out n make music together again

peace

Yeah.. I think I remember it was J-Ro comin out with "X-Homie"... I dont know though... I'm a lil bias in favor of tha Liks... I feel Xzibit did kind of sell them out after he got real close to Eminem and Dre. But whatever... It's kinda late for Tha Liks to be tryna diss him now cuz it's been a while now... and in the past... like in interviews n shit, they let it be known that they weren't really cool with Xzibit nomore, but they didnt seem to show alot of hostility towards him.. they were just kinda like "oh well, money changes people.. time to move on"..

Lyrically though... I can't really say... they all have tha same different styles but at tha same time it aint that much different. It's like they came up toghether and developed their styles around eachother... they all have about tha same ability to come up with punchlines.. I'd probably give it to Tash though. Then Xzibit... then J-Ro..

Xzibit will destroy J-Ro, but I reckon Tash would take Xzibit in a battle.

But this isn't what we need, the whole Likwit Crew shouldn't be fighting one another, they should be fighting for proper hiphop against all these commercial artists. Tha Liks are obviously annoyed that Xzibit has sold out, and that he is deserting the people who got him into the rap game in the first place. I might be wrong, but I actually think that this is Tha Liks way of trying to make Xzibit realise what he is doing. Don't get me wrong Xzibit is one of (if not my) favourite rapper out there at the moment, but he has let success go to his head and is actually getting worse with each album. Once he realises this, I think he will go back to Tha Liks and give us another classic album in the vain of At The Speed Of Life, at least that's what i'm hoping for.

I agree with LikWit Connection,

I don't want the liks to be beefing with Xzibit. Together the entire likwit crew make amazing music. Any beef that happens on wax could stop that from ever happening again.

Oh and alot of u are under-rating J-ro like a motherfucker. I suggest some of you actually go out and buy a liks album and listen to J-ro coz he is sick on the mic and near equal to Tash imo. The thing then sets them apart is that Tash has the best flow out of them 2 and as far as im concerned probably one of the best flows in hip hop.

I'd say J-ro probably smashes damn near every artist on Aftermath/Doggystyle records apart from Em and Rakim.

Don't under estimate J Macinro.

Also if J or Tash battled X i honestly don't have a fucking clue who would win.

yeah theres more to it than this.

remember what soopafly was saying.. how he used to kick it with X and how X used him to get to snoop... X used Snoop to get to Dre.... etc etc

They all been making X out to be a phoney friend who used people to network to higher people.

also.. i dont think anyone mentioned Snoop's beef and even though that deal didn't go down right Snoop + Liks must be tight... (plus daz always been tight.. shame about kurupts bitching out fucking up tha vapors project)

lemme see...

snoop + xzibit = beef - ish
soopafly + xzibit = beef - ish
liks + x = beef
daz + liks  = tight before this happened with kurupt + ex
daz + soopafly + snoop = tight again + doggystyle affiliated
doggystyle (minus daz) + liks rumour = every one with beef been around each other...hmm

X was just a member of the crew he isnt a member of "tha alkaholiks" the group... people be talking like he is.

btw.. whoever thinks X can come thru this gotta be insane. if all the people above line up he got no hope.

j-ro is the better emcee of the liks...tash aint fuckin with j mackin ro...i think the ro could test xzibit to the limits lyrically...but with punchlines tash will take xzibit down...unless ras and saafir help out...xzibit is gonna lose this one
