thats pretty sad that the most known rappper from the west has only gone gold. Snoop Dogg will eventually go platinum i think but he is really slipping sales wise. I hope Beautiful BLOWS THE FUCK UP and helps snoop sell his usual 2x platinum, but it probably won't.

snoop is the most well known rapper from the west?    i like snoop and all...but pac or dre is more popular then him...in my opinion...

well he is IMO at least one of the most well known rappers from the west if not the most and probably is equally known around the world as much as 2pac and Dre are, and his sales are really low.

Actually 2Pac's Until The End Of Time reached 3 platinum albums. And it is West Coast. And Better Dayz, released the same day of Snoop (but with the worse promotion ever, since i've heard it aint out yet in a lot of Nations in Europe..) is already gold and close to platinum. It is in its fifth week on the charts, in position 15 on the Billboard 200 (3rd on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts). Let's give props to Tupac, please. The West aint only Snoop. If he aint platinum, MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE A LOT OF PEOPLE WERE DISAPPOINTED WITH HIS ALBUM?
