Detox WONT be a big seller

when dre finally drops detox i really dont think its goin push units like you guys think.  a lot of you think detox will ressurect the west again.  dont get me wrong detox will go platnium but dre will be lucky to push half of what 2001 did.  that sold 7-8 million dre will be lucky to push 3.5 - 4 million.  he'll go about 2 million.  IM not sayin this b/c the album will be wack.  I think dre is goin drop some next level shit again like he always does.  but just the way the rap game is selling now i just dont see detox selling like 2001 did

But even before 2001 dropped, I wouldn't have predicted it would sell like it did. In the UK that album, especially with 'Still D.R.E' and 'Forgot About Dre' as singles, made him a pop star. I bet Detox will be the same: no matter how big or small the buzz appears to be in the mainstream running up to it, it'll blow the fuck up once it's out.

Oh, and as Seer says, Em and Fiddy's support ain't gonna hurt his sales none ;)

That's true, Dre CANT flop no matter how bad Detox was (I'm not saying its gon be bad, i mean if it was bad it would still sell).

Dre is on another level, he's like Eminem in a way, no matter what he puts out, there's a couple million people that gon buy the shit no matter if its dope or not. Plus, if the album's str8 heat (and i hope it'll be) it'll easily do better than 2001 since Dre is bigger each day.

DRE is gonna push mad units when DETOX comes out...

If 50 can go 6x plat, Dre can certainly do the same.  And by now, everyone knows that Dre is partially responsible for 50's success, and Eminems success for that matter.  That wasnt the case when 2001 came out.

There will be huge hype before DETOX I bet, and its gonna push mad untis because its gonna be one of the best albums ever prolly....Better than any Eminem album, or any 50 Cent album.
