Don't be expecting Dr. Dre's alleged final solo opus, Detox, to be finished anytime in the immediate future as the recording process has ceased for the moment. Why? Well, we hear that in-fighting (rumors of a Dre & Mel-Man fallout) and some of the negative backlash that was generated by artists leaving, or being dropped (Rakim & Truth, etc.) and former employees have temporarily killed the vibe. Lastly, if anyone keeps close tabs on Dr. Dre, then you've heard about the alleged "vault" where Dre is rumored to store his unreleased material. Well, we have been told that vault not only does in fact exist, but has at least 3-4 LP's worth of material stored in it just from sessions dating back as recently as 2001!!!

yeah they also say that that Dre track that was suppose to be on the black album will be on a roc-a-fella greatest hits cd, but jayz said on 106 and park that he never got to work with dre or premo

If Detox was a Skyscraper Dre was building it seems only a couple of bricks have been laid so far.

The only thing we know for sure is Detox is the working title for the album for now.

2006 is a good year...I graduate from College (if I stay on track) and I'll be 21. Hopefully The Lakers will win another championship then as well. So if it comes out summer 2006, then that'll be all good wit me...but damm, seein how much rap has changed since 2000, I wonder how the sound of rap will be then.
