Or all them hot summers when I was cooped up in the kitchen
When it came to grams it was 90 I fried

SDE - fuck it, 5 mics

come home with me - 4 mics, slept on

diplomatic immunity - as far as gangsta rap albums go, this is getting a straight 5 mics doggie.

Diplomatic Immunity, you already know mayne. to mark this special occasion i suggest you kick back and smoke some of that stuff your mamma told you not to smoke, if you dont smoke then drown yourself in some henny and put these 2 classic discs on replay till the early morning sun comes out.

powerful music mayne!

I ain't gonna rate Dipset, only heard it a couple times, beat-wise it was nice at times, but lyrically..... :-\

Confessions Of Fire   4/5
SDE   4.25/5
Come Home With Me   2.25/5 (no typin error, didn't like it)

diplomatic immunity is 2 cd's full of crack!

if you think about it

lyrics = diplomatic immunity >> chronic

production = diplomatic immunity >> chronic

Lord Funk

The greatest gangsta rap album ever?

I respect your opinion but it strikes me as an over-blown statement... what about Straight Outta Compton for a start? Criminal Minded if you want to talk East Coast? The Diplomats didn't do anything to elevate the genre or bring anything even remotely new to the table...  ???

i agree on "The chronic" bein nuthin really special lyrically but '92 those lyrics were just as good as the dipset lyrics in '02

and as for the production that's 2 very different styles, modern east coast gangsta shit and back in the days g-funk but Chronic << Diplomatic Immunity NEVER IMO and i'm sure most people on here will agree with me on this
