That's funny.  When I was 16 years old (1996) Snoop was in Dallas (where I live) doing some promotional appearance at the local urban radio station.  I called up there and let the phone ring about 1000 times before he finally answered and started talking to me on the air.  I taped the second half of our conversation but I haven't been able to find the tape since I moved like 4 times.  It went something like this:

Snoop:  K10FizzO

Me:  Oh damn, what's up Snoop? (surprised that he was actually answering the phone, not a K104 employee)

Snoop:  What up homeboy, what's your name?

Me: Gabe, my name is Gabe.  Damn, I can't believe I'm talking to you! (Yes, I actually said that).

Snoop: What up Gabe, what's happenin'?  You gonna get that new Doggfather album or what? (It had just come out that week).

Me:  I already got it.

Snoop:  Ah, that's my homie right there.

Me:  Damn, I still can't belive I'm talking to you man. (Yes, again).

Snoop:  Ah, I'm 'bout to pull you some hoes, huh?

Me:  (laughing) Hell yeah.  So what's up with 213?  Are y'all gonna put out an album or what?

Snoop:  Yeah we workin' on that, we got a few things we're doin'.

Me:  You gotta put my boy D.O.C. on your next album.

Snoop:  Hell yeah (sounding surprised), that's a good idea.  Why don't you call him up real quick and put me on 3-way wit' him?

Me:  Uh, I don't know his phone number, and I think he lives in Atlanta now. (I guess Snoop assumed I knew The D.O.C. since I called him "my boy."  I just meant my homeboy, since he's from Dallas).
 
I know a few other things were said but I don't remember exactly what they were.  I think I might have asked him something about him and Dre working together again.  After that the convo fizzled out and I told Snoop good luck.  They were about to start playing a song so he had to hang up.  He was just like, "alright then playboy, I'll holla at you" or something like that.  Kinda stupid convo but pretty cool just to talk to him.  At that time he was my favorite artist.  I need to find that tape and post the audio.
