I Dont Know, Tha Liks DVD I Saw In A Store Near Me, I Think It Was About £15. I Cant See Them Charging Stupid Prices For Them, Unless HMV Or Somewhere Wack A Profit Margin On Them.

Region 1 Is The U.S & Canada, Region 2 Is UK/Europe. To Play Region 1 DVD's You Need A Multi-Region DVD Player. Many Major Outlets Dont Sell Them (Cause Technically Theyre Not Legal Over Here) I Bought Mine From A Local PC Shop, Its Made By Mustek....Yea Exactly, Who!? lol But It Cost Me £150 And Ive Had It Nearly 2 Years Its Never Let Me Down (Touch Wood!) And It Plays ALL REGIONS, CD-R's (MPG, M2V etc), MP3's, CD's, VCD's. There Are Loadsa Places That Stock Multi Regions And Theyre Quite Cheap Cause They Are Often Not Big Names

Yeah the Best Buy close to me has it with the extra CD and it was only $14.99! Too bad my computer freezes up when I try to play it   Hopefully Squeak Ru's Road Kings won't do the same thing!

found it its under the bonus features menu.....under the I in Quik in the top its a cross lookin thing when its highlighted.... ifound it cause of the computer i just scanned with my mouse around hte menus

Major outlets (Dixons and the like) do sell multi-region players, but they are probably not multi-region out of the box. With a lot of players you can tap in a code from the remote to enable multi-region. If you buy a DVD magazine it will probably have info about it.

You can also get them from Richer Sounds & Hughes if you have them in your area, most of these will be multi-region and very good names, ie Sony & Pioneer. Plus you can order them online and mail order. You should be able to pick up a decent brand name player for about £120.

But you'll also need a TV that is capable of playing NTSC, this is the colour system used in the US. There are several options for this:

1. RGB Scart connection. This is only if your TV supports it (most made in the last like five years will, and probably older ones also). For this you need a fully wired scart cable, not a dirt cheap one. This will give you the correct colours for US DVDs and improved picture on R2 DVDs.
2. Scart connection to a TV which supports NTSC.
3. Buy a DVD player which can convert NTSC to PAL, this will give the worse quality, but at least it will work.
