Terrible news for the fellow Shady/G-Unit/Aftermath fans. Last Wednesday at 11 PM, Snoop Dogg was on Power 106 talking to Felli Fel while the station was playing classic Snoop material. They talked about Snoop's television show, his upcoming solo album, and the 213 album.

After Felli had finished playing "Deep Cover" (the first song Snoop ever recorded with Dr. Dre), Felli said, "Snoop, here's a question that I know every rap fan is wondering... when are you (both Snoop as a solo artist and 213) ever going to work with Dr. Dre again?"

Considering we all believed Dre would be on the album, we would expect Snoop to reply by giving a quick "Hell yeah! He's on our album!" Instead, Snoop replied by saying that it's all up to Dre. Which leads us to believe that there are no definite plans with Dre and the group in the near future. Although there can still be hopes of Dre playing a part in this album, Snoop's response sounded as if there was no confirmation made.

Be sure to purchase the 213 album, coming out around Christmas later this year.

I don't think you'll ever hear it from either of them, but always out of second or third hand. I don't know how reiliable that Kronik dude is, but if this is true... damn that would suck!

dre is an attention whore. lol whassup with the "this is another dr dre production" stuff at the end of the tracks. i dont doubt his skills at all but to me thats a move an attention whore would do, to make sure people know that he did the track so they gonna buy it. not alot of producers on the west do that

If this is true,it would be one of the greatest disappointments in hiphop in years.

 

It's pretty sad IMO, look at all the people Dre came up with, that helped make him successful.  People like Ren, Cube, Snoop, Nate & Warren, Daz, RBX ect...Dre doesnt ever work with any of those people anymore, nor does he work with any westcoast acts either.

Dre should remember where he came from and who he came up with and make music with the people he sounds best with.

Maybe Dre thinks too highly of Eminem, first Em wants to sign 50, so Dre's like put my name on it too, and Im gonna make beats for him, then Em signs Obie and now Dre wants to work with him. And D12.  Forget Mary J and Eve for a minute, and even Busta, and get down with Cube NWA Snoop Nate and Warren...  Now thats the Dr. Dre I want to hear!
