also, the ratings for impact keep on slippin....below a 1.0 this week. ouch.
As long as Hogan's not wrestling matches, he's probably not hurting the show as just an on-air personality. I actually kind of like the Hogan/Bischoff dynamic they have going on right now with Hogan kind of in the "good guy" general manager role and Bischoff in his usual "heel" general manager role. But all the Hogan-Hanger's-On, on the other hand, like Bubba the Love Sponge, the Nasty Boys, and Jimmy Hart b.s. should be kept to a minimum. That stuff might be alright in small doses, but when it starts eating up very much of the show's run time, they probably need to scale it back or pull the plug completely. I didn't get to see it, but I thought the Jeff Hardy/A.J. Style's match sounded like a good idea. I'm sure if given the chance those two could put on a hell of a match. I think TNA should scale back the backstage antics, as well. I think people mostly watch TNA for the quality of the matches they put on. I think they should focus on that and leave the soap opera shit to WWE. I understand they have to have some kind of story, but maybe dial it back a bit.
As I said, bring back Samoa Joe, and have AJ feud with Angle all over again, and hype it. Hype Angle like the greatest wrestler today, hype him to the moon to beat AJ, but have AJ get over Angle and then build a face to battle AJ. AJ is not a believable champion to most, you need to make him believable and you have Angle and Samoa Joe to do that.

It was by no means a solid show that I thought deserved a high rating. They have no super over guys and no reason for good ratings. I think maybe it's time to get everyone over 40 off TV, except for Flair. I couldn't stand AJ's promos if he was out there by himself.
