personal opinions on knoc-turn'al
« on: February 17, 2002, 11:20:33 AM »
these are only OPINONS, and opinions should be alowed here without ppl hatin on u all tha time...so plz don't start hatin on me plz!

my personal opinion about knoc-turn'al:
in my opinion, people are already over rating knoc when his promo album has only just hit the net...u ask me...the album is nothing special. i mean sure he has worked hard on it...but i don't really think it is more superstar than ur average westcoast album, and some tracks i don't even feel at all, especially that one with missy elliot's annoying voice on the hook. in my OPINION, knoc's voice in itself is annoying...and i can confidently say that knocs landing is an LP that i definitely won't be copping this year...cos personally i prefer kokane's voice over knoc's, and i also feel (and i could well be wrong) that 2 many ppl only like him cos he is basically another creation of dre.

now like i say...we can't all like the same thing...so don't hate me for my opinion...this is how i feel and thats that!!

I feel your opinion, but I think this belongs in another thread.  This subject has been beat to death homie.

IMO
Lyrics: Average
Voice: Dope
Flow: Dope
Album: Dope

I like Knoc mainly because he's West Coast and not a product of Dre. Shit the songs he did with Dre are my least favorite tracks on the album. I also like him because he's new talent from the Left. I'm now just waiting for Crooked and Hitt to come out.

I wonder if Dre will let him take his album.  Like he did with King T.

dre aint a funny bastard like that though is he...just cos hitt left the label...dre will prob understand all the hard work that went into it...and as long as he gets his royalty payments out of the album he is gonna let hitt take it with him!

NO MATTER WHERE HITT ENDS UP AND THAT'S IF DRE SIGNS OFF ON THE RELEASE, DR DRE'S NAME WILL APPEAR ON THE PRODUCTION AND MIXING OF THE ALBUM AND YOU'LL PROBABLY SEE AN AFTERMATH IMPRINT AT THE BOTTOM OF HITTMAN'S CD BECAUSE DRE WILL ALSO BE A CO-EXECTIVE PRODUCER FOR HITT'S RECORD. WHEREVER IT MAY BE RELEASED WILL STILL HAVE AT LEAST 50% OF THE PRODUCTION CREDITED TO DRE AND A FEW FROM MEL MAN

i think knoc turn'al is a talented new rapper.
there has been too much hype surrounding him but i think thats because there is too much anticipation for new blood in rap today (knoc, crooked, hitt). everyone is looking for tha next Snoop, 2Pac and Dre.

That "advance" that was leaked seemed to be hella old... I bet we see lots and lots of new songs on that album... Bad intentions wont be on it.. I bet a lot of other songs wont be on it either... Just wait and see... Plus besides "knock" (produced)and "doin the most" (mixed) I dont see where Dre had any input in this album... Perhpas the track "Only if it's gangsta"... but there dosent seem to be any other dre production on this album...

i didn't say nuthin about dre working on the album...i said that knoc is only in the spotlight because of dre...if he wern't on 2001 or the wash we wouldn't be talkin about him right now in my opinion...admit it...b4 2001 had u heard of him?...and thats why most ppl like him...he deserves true fans though...though i don't like him he has worked hard and deserves to sell...
