I thought nash called the time out b4 hand.  But none the less doesnt take anything away from kobe and hitting the game winning shot.  But Jordan >>> Kobe ... most of you cats are too young to remember MJ except for what he did with the wizards.

G.O.A.T= Not Kobe. Not yet, at least. Just wait for it. If he does become greater then Jordan, we'll all know it. Kobe still has 10 years to prove what he is capable of. Don't think you'll see any significant decline just because he gets older.

Kobe has 3 titles.  Jordan has 6.
Kobe has 1 NBA scoring title.  Jordan has 10.
Kobe has 0 NBA MVP Awards.  Jordan has 5
Kobe has 0 NBA Finals MVP awards.  Jordan has 6

Unless something VERY dramatic happens with Kobe in the next 5 years, he wont even come close to what Jordan did.  Also consider the fact Jordan alone did more for the game of basketball than any other player in history.

exactly, kobe can end up with better stats and more rings, but just the fact what MJ did for the game will put him ahead.  Is it fair, no... buts no ever said life is fair

^^^UMMMMM, Excuse me...His name is Wilt Chamberlain! Jordan achieved a good portion of his legacy in his 30's...KOBE IS STILL 27 AND HAS A WAY BETTER LEGACY THAN JORDAN DID AT 27. How can you guys say there's no way Kobe will be better? That's just completely insane, you can't predict that shit...If Kobe, who is just now entering his prime with greater accomplishments than Jordan EVER had entering his prime, will continue on this path he's traveling on, he will EASILY surpass Jordan by the end of his career...Not saying he will, but ya'll can't fuckin' say he wont...That's just you hoping on the inside that he wont... :-*

if you're basing greatness on awards and merrits...than jordan shouldn't be considered the greatest of all time either

right now yes kobe is better than jordan was at his age...hell  i'll say kobe now is better than jordan was in any given season, but overall jordan has had the more spectacular career, but also with that said....kobe is on pace to surpassing that

right now jordan still owns the crown, but it's more than up for grabs at the moment
