It's not TOO bad, I guess. Just the contrast of the blue and yellow lettering looks a little weird. Well, as long as the music is dope, who cares about the cover??

well if you donīt have a dope cover it can pretty hard to catch the eyes of the general consumer in a record store. so the looks of a cover plays a part in selling records.

When you're on Koch and are dropping a single that's unlikely to blow outside the West Coast, I think the look of your album cover is the least of your album selling woes...plus, DPGC are more than likely aware that their core audience will buy the album regardless of what the cover looks like. Like I said, the main picture on thadoggpound.com is a lot nicer. Should have used that.

well itīs not like you canīt sell records on Koch. Jim Jones done sold over 500k on 2 releases and B.Gīs first album on Koch scanned close to 300k.

Looks like something a 12 year old kid would knock up in 15 minutes.

It's not that good, but it's not bad either; it just doesn't stick out at all.

Generally speaking, being on Koch means low recording budgets and minimal promotion.  Yeah, they're better than most indie labels in that they'll get your record into retail chains nationally, but that's about it...when it comes to promoting the album, you're on your own.

And generally speaking, artists signed to Koch are either up-and-comers trying to get their foot in the door for the majors, or washed-up has-beens who are past their commercial prime (the latter most definitely describes DPG at this point).
