I paid £180 for it on London's Tottenham Court Road (electronic gadget central) + £25 for the 'phones. You can pick it up for less than £170 online, or even cheaper from the retards who can't use the software and are virtually giving it away on eBay. I get about 20 hours battery life from it (high volume, high brightness, equalizer on) and I have yet to hear a player which sounds better. The display is primitive-looking, but it's implemented very well.

And oh yeah, £1 = $1.88.

man i had a philips go gear (3ogb) before my ipod and that shit was wack! the battery kept dying after like 3 hours use and it wouldnt save my tracks so id turn it off, turn it back on and a few albums would be gone

no i didnt get the creative because i read a lot about them DYING completely after about a month. most within the first few weeks. my friend who worked at best buy went through 5 of them and recomended that i stay far away from them. yes i said 5. he did say they are very nice while they are working but dont work for long. i decided to go with the pod and so far nothing has gone wrong for me. been about a month id say. The batt lasts bout 10 hours which really is enough for me. The travel charger i got charges it in 2 hours and i have many oppurtunites to charge it. doub ti will ever listen to it for 10 hours straight..
