Wii making weird clicking sound when u go to Wii Menu (Lazer?)

i get this clicking sound everytime i go to the Wii Menu...

sounds like the disk lazer is setting up the disk or something... anyway just wondering if u guys get the same thing??

btw i have my wii sitting horizontal . . . . not on the stand... but i think . . . that has nothing to do with it.....

well everything is running perfectly... no long load times at all... acctually they are blazing fast... faster than any other system... and i get no error messages and my disk go in without a hitch... its just the sound that kinda worries me.... i have my warranty extended anyway since i registered so i have pretty much til may to get it replaced if anything.... ill probrably call nintendo just to make sure...

forget what mr flamebait says.. he only pops up to.. well u know..

mine sometimes makes a lil click when returning to the menu.. similar to how a pc does when you click a cd drive with a disk in..

if its not doing it other than in that case i wouldnt worry.. nintendo's got a good rep for quality and for being good at replacements etc..

Yeah for example when in a game you go to the wii main menu, you can hear the CD stop and everything quieten down a bit more, one or two noises i think, i think you'll be fine but it won't hurt to check.

cool yeah its not like its constaintly clicking... just clicks when going to the wii menu.. thast all..but almost everytime i go to the wii menu it happens but its just a simple clicking and it doesnt continue like the drive is starting to spin...

My brother and I sell used video game systems at the flea market.  I was looking through our storage bins this weekend, and I have about 30 broken Sega Genesis systems in storage. 

We started adding it up, and we sell about 5 times as many NES systems as Genesis systems... I've likely had 300 that I've taken apart and cleaned, then sold over the past several years.  Out of all of those, I have 3 that don't work.... and they're 21 years old.

Basically, Nintendo is the Honda of the gaming industry.  Everything they make has a high level of quality involved.
